Clinton should feel guilty. Bush has accomplished more in one month against terrorists than he or Mrs.X42 did in eight years. Guilt and self-blame are centeral to all liberal thinking -- time to see the Joe Biden wing of American public opinion for what it is -- self-defeating.

Clinton wants us to pay for the education of children in other countries because it is "a lot cheaper than going to war."

This ties into the dominant liberal illusion that education (not further defined) is the answer to all social ills. A number of the hijackers on 9/11 were highly educated, with several apparently holding doctorates.

Actually, the root of the terrorist upsurge is apparently a revival of conservative Muslim schools. If you will, a "Muslim studies" educational system that teaches victimization in almost the same way that "black studies" classes do in this country do.

I can agree that education is indeed much of the answer. However, what is taught and how it is taught is crucial (and seldom debated).

I am grateful to Thomas Sowell for his articulation of Clinton's hate speech in Georgetown last week. I have been steaming about that speech ever since I read the text of it. I can't believe that it wasn't big news and no one seems to care (except on this forum). It seems to me that the speech speaks volumes - scary that this guy was at the helm of our wonderful country for 8 years. I truly believe that man did everything he could to destroy our culture and way of life.

Using 10% of Clinton's verbiage, Mr. Sowell skewers Clinton's comments with his usual masterful application of straightforward logic and fact.

This is the cohort to which Clinton speaks, the one that gave him a standing O at the UN. They are brothers under the skin and know each other well. That is why they like him so much, for they see that he hates us as much as they do and he is as corrupt as they.

The reason it is not big news is because 1) the media does not want to draw attention to the boil it helped to create and then nutured every day for eight years, and 2) the people who supported him don't want to be reminded that they he is the guy they supported, and 3) almost everyone else just wants him to go away.

The speech was rambling and he came just short of slurring words...yes, he was "on" something...and the reason he was 45 minutes late, someone was doing the 'black coffee' or some such thing to get him 'sober'.
