Would anyone like a free dinner at Golden Corral? Well, there is an easy way if you are an American military veteran. Golden Corral just announced this years Military Appreciation Monday will be November 12, 2007, from 5 to 9 pm.
For the past 6 years, Golden Corral has been honoring the US Military with a free thank you dinner and beverage at any Golden Corral restaurant on Military Appreciation Monday (first Monday after Veterans Day), to honor any person who has ever served in the United States Military.
In the past the only requirement to receive the free meal was to inform the restaurant you are a veteran; there is no proof required. That being said - please dont abuse the system. Claiming you are a veteran just for a free meal is an insult to those who have served our country.
From the first Military Appreciation Monday in 2001 to the present, Golden Corral has donated 1.5 million free thank you meals and $1.9 million dollars to the Disabled American Veterans.
I would like to extend my thanks to the folks at Golden Corral for making this possible, and to all Americans who have served - thank you for your service.

We saw the ad tonight. We are all working the ASY/Wounded Warrior charity golf tourney at my wife’s club this weekend.
God bless all who serve(d), esp my Dad a two tour Vietnam Vet. And God bless the airborne. All the Way!

I believe I had seen a Golden Corral somewhere between Cherry Point and Camp Lejeune a few years back that happened to have signs outside welcoming in military folks for reduced or a free meal.
Shame more business do not offer something for our military. I know last year my Home Depot had a super bonus for any active military folks that would show up on veteran's day.
I happened to bump into a young Marine in uniform and helped him load some stuff into his car. He turned out to be a local recruiter.
