Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdul Latef Al Zayani said on Sunday that Manama was “truly looking forward” to working with Israeli Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu and his prospective government.
Both Zayani and Netanyahu are signatories to the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Bahrain and Israel in September 2020.
Zayani noted that Manama was seeking “to continue working on the successful achievements” with Israel, and emphasized his conviction that Netanyahu believes in peace, according to Israeli media.

This is a Gulf Arabs vs the Mullahs of Tehran story most of all. My bet is that were a revolution in Iran manage to throw out the Mullahs in charge there, that the Abramham accords may become in jeopardy, that the Arabs would again put “Palestine” front and center with their concerns.
Interesting title…….
A revolution in Iran would mean the end of the palestinian issue as far as Israel’s security is concerned. The Arab world has no interest in backing the palestinians, so they would in effect be disarmed if Iran retires from the terror business.
I am not confident that the Gulf Arabs respone to an Israel-friendly secular Iran would continue to honor the Abraham accords and not return to their true-to-form hatred of Israel. I think what the Gulf Arabs share with Israel MOST is NOT any Abrahamic “brotherly love” but mutual animosity toward the Mullahs of Tehran, MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. I think that could change if a secular Iran and Israel established friendly relations. The Gulf Arabs states appear “modern” (by their extravgent use of capital) but they are all run by local unlelected dictators (Shieks) who are all religuously fundamentalist Sunni Muslims, whose main contention with the Mullahs is that they are not fundamentalist Shia Muslims. Once the biggest Shia Muslim country in the region, Iran, made peace with Israel, they could change their tune on Israel.
