ROME — The Vatican suggested Thursday a Biden presidency might inject new life into the stagnant Paris Climate Accord after President Trump pulled the U.S. out of the deal in 2017.
The Vatican COVID-19 Commission announced Thursday that it is organizing a webinar next week in preparation for a December 12 global climate summit to be co-hosted by the United Nations and the UK to mark the fifth anniversary of the Paris Agreement.
In its preparatory document, the Vatican team lamented the lack of initiative and commitment around the Paris climate goals, something it said needs to gain renewed momentum ahead of the U.N. Climate Change Conference (COP 26) to be held in Glasgow in November 2021.
“More than 195 Paris Agreement signatories have promised to update their 2015 commitments before the end of 2020, but no major emitting countries have formally submitted new commitments to the UNFCCC,” the text states. “The result of US elections can play a key role in the next weeks’ developments.”
When President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the 2015 Paris accord, he said he did so to fulfil his “solemn duty to protect America and its citizens.”
“The Paris Climate Accord is simply the latest example of Washington entering into an agreement that disadvantages the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries,” Mr. Trump declared, “leaving American workers — who I love — and taxpayers to absorb the cost in terms of lost jobs, lower wages, shuttered factories, and vastly diminished economic production.”

Ask the Vatican if they know what the Paris climate scam even is or what it does. In short: NOTHING but burn US tax dollars. If they tell China to reduce emissions, what do they think China is going to do? It’s a joke, a scam and by Biden giving them money he is taking money from each of us and DESTROYING it. He is taking the time that is subtracted from our lives working at a job and WASTING it, not that this scumbag would even understand what working is.
Somebody needs to show the poser Pope the exit door. The Vatican is inserting itself into political and world affairs that are NOT any of its business.
Stick to evangelical missions, encouraging/spreading Christianity, and servicing Christ & God.
The Pope is rogue and needs to find his way back to religion or get booted!
No one should ask the Vatican anything about the Paris Climate Deal...because the Vatican should not be involved it in UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Christ did not die and rise from the dead to improve the climate, so the speciousness of the Paris Climate Accord is irrelevant, and arguing against it would be taking the bait.

Yep, agree 100% and I’m just curious: Has the Vatican ever said anything about the genocide going on in China? They always seem to stick their noses into US politics but I can’t recall them ever saying anything about China. Everything and everybody seems to be protecting China today.
So sad that the Catholic Church has become a left-wing tool instead a purveyor of The Word...John Paul II was the first Pope I remember saying anything about taking care of Mother Earth and he was a good one...
