Or the ‘Lord’s prayer.
Was it in a religion class? Because thats the only circumstance where I could imagine that being an assignment.
There are ways to write stuff without stating they are your belief.
Or erect a monument of the Ten Commandments!
>>>But dont you dare recite the Lords prayer at a football game
Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to say a couple of Hail Marys.
Yes, exactly. Let’s see who voted not to hear the case.
Lol
Make a Church of God kid write the Rosary and see what happens
Better pull your Ego and Super Ego out at the same time you pull your Id out. You dont want a fractured personality. ;^)
It takes four justices so two of the five that are not the Marxist quartet voted against.
My guess, Roberts and Kavanaugh.
It takes four Supreme court judges to hear a case. Which suggests most of them didn’t want to hear it. There could be more to this story we don’t know
It was a world history class in a lesson on The Muslim World.
From the lower court ruling;
"The assignment involving the shahada, the court found, was meant to assess whether students understood the beliefs and practices of Muslims. The task was factual, and students were not required to memorize the shahada, to recite it, or even to write the complete statement of faith, according to the ruling."
The Supremes made the right call and I don't understand why so many people seem to think ignorance of Islam is desirable.
Why would that even be a ‘school assignment?
Yes, I know why... but it should not be allowed!
snip~Thompson said that on top of getting an F in the class, Wood was also made to watch a pro-Islam PowerPoint presentation that denigrated her religion and basically said that Christians are not as faithful as Muslims. So we strongly believed that this was a violation.
OMG can you even imagine if this were reversed GIVE ME A DAMN BREAK!!
Amen.
There are ways to write stuff without stating they are your belief.
The problem is, it may not be what you believe but according to islam, if you say those words then you are considered a convert to islam, whether you believe it or not.
Not to mention the blatant hypocrisy of the fact that if something so blatantly Christian were taught in schools the lawsuits and meltdowns would begin.
I agree 100%.
¡Snort!
Nice
I guarantee the reverse would be different. America as founded is on life support. I naively thought the Supreme Court was a “firewall”. If we didn’t have 2A,America would already be dead.
That sounds like a legit class assignment.
And for those who think a mantra like that is magical; that it will turn you into a Muslim, thats some pretty powerful magic. And if you think its legitthat it automatically converts you, I think you dont understand how this works.
Peace be upon you.
