Which Should Be Illegal: Sodomy or Christianity? (A Thought Experiment

John Zmirak Pick one. Seriously.

This is the choice the intolerant left is forcing on us. Liberals pretended right up to the day before Obergefell v. Hodges was decided that all they wanted was tolerance. Privacy. To keep government out of people’s intimate lives. And that sounds good to us. I’ve never met a single person — and I move in some pretty right-wing circles — who wanted to imprison or fine anyone for private sexual conduct. Most of the Christian opponents of the LGBT agenda just want themselves and their institutions left alone. We want freedom of contract and association, with certain justified Civil Rights exceptions. Those old-fashioned American ideals.

President Trump really believes that this is what he’s fighting for, when he commits the U.S. to decriminalizing sodomy in foreign countries. But he’s mistaken.....

Which should be illegal? muzziedom or sodomy? Muzzies throw gays off tall buildings. Which one should be outlawed in a civilized world?

Concerning homosexuality and health, the homosexual population has a significantly higher incidences of a number of diseases.

Given the many diseases associated with homosexuality, the Bible prohibition against homosexuality is arguably one of the many examples where the Bible exhibited knowledge that was ahead of its time.

Well, sodomy brings so much to the table besides the liberation of men who like to insert things into other men. Whereas all Christianity has ever brought the world is art, music, literature, morality, hope, salvation, a future ...

It's pretty obvious which one has the more positive influence on humankind collectively.

The article is a good summation.

Correct. I concluded 25 years ago that the true Church was headed back to the Catacombs to preserve the truth.

The Frankfurt School long ago infiltrated Christian seminaries and universities. It laid the groundwork for the homoerotic subversion that followed.

He's never read FR.

I've been reading FR for well over 15 years, and --- aside from general insult and invective --- I've never heard FReepers go further than "they should get back in the closet." Nobody wants the kind of surveillance state it would take, to prosecute people for what they did consensually in their homes.

I personally would like to overturn Obergefell vs Hodges and let the states take it where they may. I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any enforcement on domestic stuff, just the reversal of the "Pride and Privilege" aspect of LGBT-STD-HIV and the firm suppression of public indecencies in public spaces.

Amen. Trump should not be so naive about the larger agenda.

Zmirak, as usual, nails it.

20 years ago that would be a silly question.

Most people would say "both" and be a bit insulted by the silliness of the question.

Now it is the litmus test that divides society.

Just the other day I saw a post here that started: "Fecal sex should be a crime" (or words very much to that effect - first two words are an exact quote). Trying to find the link ...
