Hymn to St. Joseph
Tune of: "Be Thou My Vision"
Blessed Saint Joseph, how great was your worth,
You provided your strength for God's Son upon earth,
The guardian of Jesus! Ah, then you will be,
As spouse of Our Lady, a father to me.
You to your family were father and guide,
Jesus and Mary felt safe at your side;
Blessed Saint Joseph, how safe I would be,
O Church's protector, if you were with me.
Provider for Mary, and support of her Child
Lifes ways can be weary, the desert is wild;
Wilderness around us, no safety in view,
Dear spouse of our Lady, we lean upon you.
`
Dear St. Joseph
Tune of: "As a Fire is Meant for Burning"
Dear St. Joseph, strong and gentle,
Guardian of the Savior child,
Trav'ling with the virgin mother,
Egypt's deserts rough and wild.
Honest worker, spouse of Mary,
Blest above all saints on high,
Teach us how to love our families,
How to live, and how to die.
You were carrying on your shoulder
Christ the Lord of heaven and earth.
You were making Him a cradle,
Heaven's King of priceless worth.
Dear St. Joseph, wise and loving,
Give to us a helping hand;
As the head of Mary's household,
Guide the Church to Heaven's land.
Dear St. Joseph, just and holy,
Your Son Jesus honors you.
Guard the Church through toil and danger,
We are Mary's children, too.
You had known a pilgrim's sorrows,
But your day of toil is o'er;
Help us while we journey onward
Lead us to the peaceful shore.

Nope.
A spouse has conjugal rights.
Rome has striped those away from Joseph.
1 Corinthians 7:5
5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
There are two views on baptism: infant baptism and adult baptism. The scriptures aren't as clear as one would think and neither is the history of both. Both views can be supported by scripture and both trace their origins back to early times. I tend to favor the view of adult believer baptism but it is understandable to me how some believers can legitimately believe in infant baptism.
My husband don-o and I sing shape-note music from the Christian Harmony (fascimile of the 1877 edition) which harkens back to many earlier editions, including William Walker's Southern Harmony (1835) and I'm guesstimating at least half of the tunes are set to multiple lyrics, and pre-date even that hymnal use.
Swapping out and adapting tunes and lyrics is a "White (and Black) Spiritual" tradition, and a Catholic and Protestant one, too.
I like that tradition. Christian Harmony.
When I offer a mildly interesting observation that any reasonable person who can tap a rhythm would find uncontroversial, and someone goes loo-loo, I feel that the universe is a more threatening place.
