I’ve been to St. Agnes! You are so lucky! My daughter and I happened to be there (she lives in Harlem) on the feast day of St. Agnes. Unforgettable.

It was a sad day when the interior caught fire and destroyed most of the church. It was rebuilt (with parishioners ’ money, of course) and is quite nice but nothing like it once was. It isn't the most beautiful church in NYC but one of my favorites.
