Recently, Dr. James White of Alpha & Omega Ministries publicly condemned the YouTube series "Islamicize Me," starring David Wood, Jon McCray, Vocab Malone, and many others. While David, Jon, and Vocab don't usually like to get into inter-Christian disputes, the large volume of complaints by Dr. White's fans have convinced the Apologetics Avengers to reply.

Ive been enjoying the series, David Wood rocks.
Not to diminish the good works that Paul Washer, or Tim Conway, or Ravi Zacharias, or Michael Youssef do, but David Wood is a unique voice speaking out against what I think is the greatest threat to Western civilization right now.
Series is hilarious. They actually try to act out the islamie scriptures.
James White’s whole career is about controversies with others.
Plus, take a gander this.
Next, please address the substance of my criticism, which has been, plainly, biblically based. Your comments thus far have been highly pragmatic, that is, "Well, it works, and people leave Islam." Well, personally, I am not interested in getting people to leave Islam.

Whoa! That’s shocking. He spent so many years trying to get people to leave Catholicism and Mormonism and other faith groups he disagreed with so why is he suddenly hands-off with Islam?

Compare how he talks about Mormons, or Roman Catholics, to how he talks about, and with, Muslims, people who literally seek to emulate someone who was the LITERAL translator for the Devil.
There's even a devout Muslim who re-uploads all of his videos to Youtube.

I've watched snippets from his speech, which was remarkable in many ways, before.

Ingrid Mattson, Obama's Muslim whisperer at DHS, didn't appreciate that. Neither did the non-Muslim who mass-reported my tweets.

Just getting them to leave Isalm, still leaves them lost, which is Dr. White's point (obscured by the truncated quote).
1. Many, many people-including former Muslims-were atheists/agnostics before they came to the cross. Not everyone repents and confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior the minute they realize that Mohammed was a false prophet.
2. Even if they ultimately are never reconciled to Christ, as heartbreaking as turning away from the way, the truth, and the light is, turning a Muslim who could potentially become a suicide bomber into an apathetic atheist-or an atheist who argues against Islam, and thus persuades more Muslims to reject their false doctrine-is preferable to letting that Muslim wallow in his ignorance and darkness, and potentially harm other believers-and even other unbelievers.
Just read that link to White’s criticism. Painful combination of clulessness and pride. Reckon he would have been shocked at Jesus clearing the temple.
