To faithful Muslims, the Prophet Muhammad is a role model, and they must follow his Sunnah and learn how to implement its precepts and practices in their lives. So to understand the Prophet Muhammad is to understand Islam.
Fortunately, for both Muslims and non-Muslims, Muhammad is not around so that we can personally observe his conduct and be tempted to emulate him. What is possible, however, is to go to authentic Islamic records and discern what Muhammad did during his life and judge it for ourselves.
The absence of Muhammad is fortunate for the Muslims because it enables them to spin many yarns about how virtuous he was. There are more stories about the kindness, his generosity, his forbearance, and whatnot than any dozen men could do in ten lifetimes. Muslims, heads in the sand, keep reciting to each other all these made-up tales.

I like the part about the 72 (?) virgins that a warrior gets upon his/her death. So death is for infinity, this raises some questions:
What are the virgins? male, female, goats, etc.
Are they there to have sex with you whether you want it or not? Could be 72 300 lbs. sweaty males that are going to show you some new adventures that were unexpected.
Do you have to consummate relation with all 72 virgins on the first day, or can you spread them out over say a couple of months? After consummation, are you then finished with nothing to look forward to for the rest of infinity? that a long time for so little pleasure.
or do the virgins regenerate as a new virgin after consummation? that would mean you get more than 72
or are you just stuck with the original 72 and must continually consummate relations with the same 72 for all eternity? The would be getting pretty ripe after say a couple of hundred years
Do you have to consummate relations or just pass on having sex after a while? It might get to be drudgery after say a thousand years, maybe even up to torturous.
So I don’t believe that Mohammed gave this much thought especially for the long run. There a lot of questions to be answered with a lot of pitfalls with this kind of ‘blessing’ from Allah, especially if you are giving up your life.
Mohammedanism is rotten at its core and at its core is Mohammed.
If he’s the perfect model of Islam, I’ll pass...Jesus was the role model who should be honored.
