Our father, we come to you in prayer today for our beleaguered nation and for its citizens. We especially remember in prayer those suffering from the violence and suffering spawned by the evil that seems to be spreading unchecked through our land.
Protect our country, our values and history from those who operate from selfish motives and who want to destroy our values, Open the eyes of the weak-willed who support them. Help our President and his team to guide our land back toward the path of righteousness.

If we pray for our nation, the first prayer must be for REPENTANCE.
The bulk of the responsibility for the sad condition of our nation lies at the feet of the church, where men are building their kingdoms and bank accounts and believers are content going to church on Sundays, playing church games, and living like unbelievers.
The world looks at the church - and it sees itself. So why should it be interested?
The church is no longer “salt” to the nation, not a light shining of WHO God really is, not displaying the character, nature and power of the Lord Jesus Christ as seen in the book of Acts.

I’d use the word “grieved” instead of “saddened”. He wrote the book 50 years ago........such is the decline since then.
Amen to your every word. We are witnessing a true miracle. From the time D.J. Trump announced he would run. There are times when we must feel just as MOSES when he reached the promised land. Allowed to see, but never entering.
HOLY FATHER, thank you for igniting the light of FAITH in this nation. The fear we foresaw for our children has been thwarted. YOU have shown us that YOU will watch over all YOUR children. PRAISE OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST. What a friend we have in JESUS.

Lord Jesus....
....As we face the events and time in our nation, we ask you, Lord, to dwell among us. Be the unseen guest at our gatherings and here among us on FR.... We are comforted knowing that You alone are our Savior and Lord, and the ultimate Master of life. Therefore we do trust our nation to Your loving care, Lord.
We ask that you send Your Spirit to touch the hearts and minds of our nation’s leaders. Give them your wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to act when you would have them do so and in your timing..and restrain those who do not have your will and purposes in mind.
Give us the light of your Spirit and Your truth through your Word to guide us in our ways throughout this week so that we may seek Your will in our lives and impact the world around us for Your Kingdom and the Salvation of those yet to come to you....give them willingness to hear and believe.
