The rosary is immensely powerful, but it is God's strength at work, not ours
Two weeks before Ealing Council voted to ban pro-life vigils, the local MP Rupa Huq accused the Good Counsel Network of weaponising the rosary as they prayed silently outside the local abortion clinic. It is interesting that this non-Catholic MP should have perceived that the rosary was being used in this way. For Catholics the rosary has indeed always been a spiritual weapon and we should not be afraid to say so.

And our courts, including SCOTUS aid and abet anyone trying to squash anything Christian....
By that definition (rosary being weaponized" then just plain prayer is also a weapon....all the rosary does is help folks do prayer by rote and perhaps serve as a cross one can wear as a necklace....
Yes, it is a good introduction to events of the gospels, and, additionally, meditating on those events every time I say the rosary has brought about a continual deepening of my understanding and appreciation for those parts of the gospel.
Thanks for posting.
Saying the rosary every day has brought me much more closer to Christ than 30 years of reading the Bible did alone. If you are intensively and prayerfully meditating every day on the events of Jesus’ life (which is what you are doing when you pray the rosary), you can’t help but to know him better.
I agree.
I’ve also started wearing a rosary bracelet. It’s handy whether or not I have pockets. Also, I’ve discovered that people notice it and ask questions.
When I lived in big cities where I walked a lot and used public transit,I always carried my rosary visibly. I can’t tell you his many times people approached me and asked me to pray for themselves and their loved ones.
It is an outward sign that you believe in the power of God. It attracts people who need help. It makes you a silent missionary.
Tagline.
Love it!
