Dude, Latin was great! They had five cases, they had the ablative absolute, they had gerunds and gerundives. What’s not to like?
To: Morgana
Go back to Latin America, Francis. The Cardinals made a mistake.

He has blasted the "excessive rigidity" of Catholics who believe in moral absolutes Well, morals ARE absolute.
If I were Catholic I'd be very disappointed in this guy...

I had to laugh today when a freeper, in response to an obvious truth wrote:
Is the Pope Communist?
Sad, of course, but funny because all humor is founded on truth.

Amen. A non biblical, cultural reflection from a Millenia ago. Not required to worship in spirit and truth.

Not Catholic, but this guy is a total embarrassment to the Church.

OK Pope - the fluidity of the novus ordo that results in banal and dreadful liturgies suffering at the whim of every clueless “liturgical” director is better?
Really? I don’t think so ... I have been at dreadful masses - flat tone deaf cantors singing ditties on cheap microphones.
Lex orandi lex credendi.
This Pope is a clueless fool.

As a Latin mass attendee, I say, “Thanks, Frank. We love you too.”

“Pope Francis frequently criticizes faithful Catholics using this type of rhetoric. He has blasted the “excessive rigidity” of Catholics who believe in moral absolutes.
Traditionalists with their hostile inflexibility, fail to allow themselves to be surprised by God, he said in 2014.”
If Francis continues on his path to apostasy he’ll be very surprised by God when he’s called to account for leading his flock astray.
To: Morgana
Nutball Pope. Ignore him and listen to the Bishops.

Lord forgive me, but I can’t stand this Jester. Where is his coxcomb?

Amen. A non biblical, cultural reflection from a Millenia ago. Not required to worship in spirit and truth.
As far as I know, none of us Latin Mass attendees are pushing for to make it 'required' for all Catholics. If you like your Mass, you can keep your Mass. The point here is that some of us like Latin Mass. Why can't we enjoy it in peace without this Argentine leftist casting aspersions on us?
As for the 'rigidity' thing, one could make the argument that ANY sort of Mass (Tridentine Latin, the English 'New Mass,' Byzantine whatever) is a rigid sort of worship. To Pope Francis, Latin Mass attendees are rigid. But does he not realize that his preferred religious practices are viewed the same way by much of the world? Francis should ask himself why does anyone need to go to Mass at all? Why even belong to the Church or even have a Pope? Why not sit on the lawn and smoke a joint? That's the logical result of his mentality, but he's not bright enough to see it.
To: Morgana
In think that the Holy Spirit looked away from the Conclave for a moment and the devil slipped in. That’s the only explanation I can think of for this heretical Pope.
