It's great that C-3PO knows over six million languages. It's less great when he buzzkills your Pentecostal revival by saying all the languages you're speaking are fake.
And yes, sorry, 1 Corinthians 13, not 14. My apologies. Or, as they say in Pentecostalism, twa bravintisha.

On the plus side, you won’t understand the griping!
:D
This is true.
I’d chime in.....but like the missing translator in the video, I’m suffering from Lutheranism........
I’ve always wondered why they just don’t test to prove it either way.
e.g. You get someone with the gift to speak in tongues and have him/her do their thing as 3 or more people with the gift of interpretation write down the English translation.
If the three interpreter’s writings agree, then you’re cooking with gas!

Ya’ll need to be careful, because mocking the real move of the Holy Spirit is perilously close to the one thing God considers unforgivable - which is attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to satan.
Are there phony Pentecostals - yes. Are the gifts described in the new testament still in operation - yes.
Do not be fooled by the one or mock the other.
LOL! My MIL was Pentecostal and really believed that the gibberish was the Holy Spirit speaking through them.
Sorry about that...was laughing so hard plus did not think it would have made the rounds that fast...Yea I know, I know should have searched....My Bad!
Who is mocking a REAL move of the Holy Spirit?
AND...... in case you weren't aware, Satan can do wonders and miracles, as Pharaoh's magicians did in imitating the miracles of Moses.
The criteria is determining if what's happening is truly the Holy Spirit at work or not, and based on what I've encountered in many Pentecostal events, it's not.
There are also some who think that that sin cannot be committed today because the Pharisees were speaking with God Incarnate face to face and KNEW better as they were experts in Scripture and had no reason to NOT recognize the Messiah.
Today we have people all over the world doing things that are clearly NOT Christlike, claiming to speak for God. And since we are admonished in Scripture to be on the watch for wolves in sheep's clothing, there is a point at which we are called on to make that determination, whether the person claiming to be speaking for God is truly from God.
This is very true.
I enjoy a good Pentecostal revival once in a while. The ones I hang with don’t do the speaking in tongues but sometimes they get a pastor that comes in that do. It creeps me out every time. I start speaking in tongues “AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum....”
I gotta say this about them and always admired them for it. They really like going to church. Have such a good attitude. They never leave with a frown on their face. Father Harry once told us “leave this house of God with a smile on your face so it makes people wonder what you are doing in here and want to come in”. Well you know Pentecostals do and I have seen why.

This is sad that the Lutherans are dividing against other Christians. 1 Cor. 13 indeed.
