We are at the dawn of a new consciousness, a radically fresh approach to our life...Perhaps the best name for this new segment of historical experience is the Interspiritual Age." Wayne Teasdale, "The Mystic Heart"
"At the outbreak of the modern era, the (gnostic) system of inverse biblical exegesis was once again activated." Ioan Couliano, "The Tree of Gnosis"
The Gnostic system of inverse exegesis begins with evolution, which has persuaded people,
"...to think of everything in nature as the fruit of a gradual growth rather than an original creation." Such inverse thinking means it is now impossible for educated Westerners to conceive of Biblical revelation because "in an evolving world, perfection obviously lay, not in the past, but in the future." (Franklin Baumer, "The Making of the New Spirituality, James Herrick, p. 150)
Western and American culture has been hijacked by an evolutionary spiritual ideology that Dr. Peter Jones, an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America and Executive Director of truthxchange, calls neo-Gnostic Paganism. In the foreword to the book 'On Global Wizardry,' John Frame describes it as an historical and worldwide movement of enormous, cultural power that for centuries has sought to dominate our world. If you view creation as a film (except with 3 dimensional frames instead of 2-dimensional frames on the reel), then a truly omniscient God would have created the entire universe and every frame of existence on that “film” from the beginning to the end.
Science is merely studying the rules of thumb that God used when making the roll of film. That is how everything in the future is know (e.g. who is saved, who is not). A miracle would be something is out of whack from our perspective, e.g. something appears out of thin air that wasn’t in the previous frame). From our perspective, we have free will and things are happening around us.
From God’s perspective, everything is predetermined because he is holding the roll of film.
Thanks for posting. Linda Kimball’s columns are always interesting. I’ve been reading them for several years and find them quite thought provoking.
Don’t forget that environmentalists are basically pagans.
Pre-monotheistic pagans worshipped nature, which includes making nature more important than people.
Monotheistic religions put God on top.
This can be seen in left vs right environmental concerns.
The right is interested in controlling pollution because pollution hurts people.
The left is interested in controlling people because people “hurt” nature.
This is one of the most interesting creation analogies, imo.
There is nothing new under the sun —as it is written— Unless I am mistaken the Sacred Writings call this the Great falling away.

God breathed life into us-not His Spirit. Scriptures teaches us we are evil until we become new creatures in Christ. It is THEN that we receive His Spirit which guides us to all truth.
Man always was free to choose. We just choose to do everything that which is evil.
Maybe the baffling tolerance of the “secular” world for the Muslim bloody violent death cult is due to its being so utterly from the pit of hell, that is, against God and Christ (biblically speaking). Like attracts like, birds of a feather and all that. ISIS serves a purpose for them - the slaughter of Christians.
Secularists believe they have transcended religion but create thier own in the process. Blind as bats and led by dark visionaries with hellbent agendas.

Well stated. Islamism and Communism/Socialism/Progressivism are evil death cults from hell. The individuals who comprise them are not themselves the devil but are of a mind with him. In this world they do his work.
