Exactly how it looks in print.

How it looks in print is capable of varied pronunciations, depending on whether you go with English or Latinate rules.

Confused?

If you tried to read this article full of gibberish past ‘...They are positively pro-life, they support traditional family structures, and encourage fine music, beautiful liturgy, art, and architecture. They are in favor of celibacy for an ll-male priesthood, a renewal of the enclosed religious life, and support a wide range of traditional devotions ...’

What is ‘positively pro life?’

In faved of an all male priesthood? It’s dogmatic. It’s not up to individuals. He doesn’t leave out all male in his celibacy statement. This is propaganda

A renewal of the enclosed religious life? What? As opposed to what? What is he talking about? If nuns want to be cloisters what is it to anyone? Who is ‘in favor’ or not ‘in favor ‘ of this?

If nuns want to be cloistered do they need approval from some members of the laity?

This is typical NYT religious reporting. Crap

‘The disintegration of the Roman Catholic Church emanating from the Vatican has been ongoing for over 50 years. It has morphed into something...’

That statement is wrong. It is untrue and it is simply not based in fact

I’m sure there is some spirited discussion on this thread.

That statement is wrong. It is untrue and it is simply not based in fact.

Fact? I suppose you don't want to believe your lying eyes!

The Catholic Church has become a meeting place for humanists. What passes for liturgy is an insult to Jesus Christ. Tenets? There are none. The priest is referred to as the 'president of the congregation.'

The word 'catholic' means universal and before Vatican II it indeed was. A Catholic could attend mass at any Catholic church in the world and know exactly what was happening and be able to actively participate. Not true any longer as each parish and diocese conducts things differently.

Think about it. You don't honestly believe that today's Catholic Church bears any resemblance to the one Jesus Christ instituted before His Ascension, do you?

You don’t have any idea what you are talking about

Apparently not because I don’t know what it was I was talking about.

I believe I know to what you’re referring, so in that case I will just say to you that one day we’ll individually find out the truth, but we won’t be able to let those behind know what it is.

Again, nonsense. Jesus let us know very clearly what we’re supposed to know It’s all there. The only reason people ignore it is the same resin they reject any truth- they don’t like to hear it

I don’t think the Catholic Church is going to break up into three groups since the problems within it are nothing compared to how bad it was in the past that triggered the Protestant and Anglican splits.

In the Philippines, it also faces different pressures due to the personal preferences and practices of its members, but these are satisfied by groups like the El Shaddai, Couples for Christ, and Light of Jesus Community, which have prevented millions of Catholics from leaving the faith, by incorporating the practices that have made Evangelicalism so attractive.

Au contraire, mon ami. (A little French lingo there to demonstrate my fondness for little froggies.)

That's an appropriate reference given the Modernists have been slowly boiling Catholics like frogs for 50+ years. What we're seeing now with Francis and the Synod on the "Family" is their turning up the heat.

Rev 22:1

Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.

Remember when Jesus says He must first ascend to the Father so that the Spirit can be sent? I.e., Pentecost.
