Which Charlie Hebdo most assuredly is - but they're equal opportunity tacky and tasteless, so I just can't get that offended. As my dear mom used to say, "Consider the source."
They’re not doing it to be daring or to promote freedom of speech and thought - they’re doing it because the Jesuits AGREE with the anti-Catholic cartoons. They aren’t fooling anyone.
The Jesuit order should have been eliminated and purged long ago. Unfortunately we have a Jesuit anti-pope who is an enemy of the Church. Hopefully not for long.

OK class: compare and contrast the way these Catholics react to satirical cartoons about their faith, to the ways radical Muslims react to satirical cartoons about their faith. Which group is the most mature, civilized, and worthy of emulation?
It amazes me what people go through these days to come off as being drooling, blithering idiots. Everybody wants to be an idiots. Like being a sexual deviant, being an idiot is “in” in today’s world.

Catholics haven’t attacked Charlie Hebdo, so why would they need to prove anything?
The Muslims won’t see it as— gee, look Catholics will even print the cartoons themselves! Aren’t the Catholics righteous, comfortable with their religion and have a good sense of humor.
The ones that this display is meant to target and teach will look at as a show as Catholics think so little of their religion that they would do such a filthy thing. The Islamist think different.

Funny how things that fit a particular agenda spread like wildfire and those that don't are ignored. Seems like as many people who claim to be solid Catholics pick and choose what they make sure spreads far and wide the same way the MSM does.

They could show their support for Free Speech and their criticism of the Very Famous Radical Muslims by publishing some satirical Muslim comics of their own.

The Jesuits don’t seem to have re-published the cartoon of the Trinity engaging in sodomy, which was Charlie Hebdo’s comment on Catholic opposition to gay marriage. Ann Barnhardt linked to it recently, to make this point: No Catholic killed anyone in response.
