"Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels." Matthew 25:41

That is how it always been as long as you confess to your sins and accept Jesus as savior.

That's not fair!! You're using the Bible against the Pope. Catholics have traditions and Petrine Supremacy, ya' know.

So much for the faithful interpretation of scriptures by the Catholic church. If that is so, why did they “sell” indulgences?????

He was talking about the Church, so the context is the Church.

Catholics are sitting in a corner crying, rocking and screaming, "He isn't speaking ex cathedra!!"

Did anybody bother to read this? From the article, the pope prefaces this statement by stating “This is the Churchs destination..” so, “We” refers to the people of the church, e.g. the saved, so yes all members of Christ’s church will be together.

If a Muzzie “Imam” is up there, my understanding of God needs some serious changing.
Those slime should be relegated to a dimension of hell about three levels below what Dante envisioned.

So much for the faithful interpretation of scriptures by the Catholic church. Can't blame the Church. The Pope has apparently gone rogue. Maybe he has apostatized. Maybe he is demented. Maybe he has been marinating in modernism for so long that he doesn't understand that his role as the Vicar of Christ is to guard and transmit the Deposit of Faith. It's a mystery.

“This is the Churchs destination. . . It is beautiful to think of this, to think of Heaven. All of us will be up there together, all of us!”
Yes, I think he is just referring to the believers here.

I cannot imaging that his views were not known, at least by enough to spread the word among the Cardinals. How on earth was he selected to be Pope???
