Thank you for posting to me. I apologize if I've offended you personally. Your quote “Catholicism would be the least of their worries” is music to my ears. I wrote that in response to the many “Christians” on FR who utterly hate and despise Catholics and write here every day about it. I wrote to them, not to you, but of course, how would you know that? I have read the threads here. Typed words are hard to emotionally decipher unless we write in story form. She wrote sadly. In fact my last post on a particularly long thread was that I felt like an Iraqi watching the Shiites and Sunnis. My Bible has a criteria for what makes a person a Christian and that is what I use.

Of course, I do have to admit that 40 years ago I thought a fellow Protestant was going to hell because of a theological point. Instead of debate I went to my Father and cried my heart out. He then brought me to the point where I was ready to put all I had learned at His feet and asked for only the truth. Read my Bible and was shown that my friend was in fact correct. I no longer believe in the “Left Behind” theology. It is lonely out here at times. LOL

Half my family is Catholic and so is my best friend, so maybe I don’t count. I can worship in any church that proclaims Jesus as Son of God.

Sorry, but I only ever see evangelicals respond to attacks and trolling by the Catholics on FR. Your first statement sounds like a bit of projection.

I don’t personally know any evangelical Christians who hold any animosity toward Catholics in general, and I have known thousands of them.
