In this episode, I answer the title’s question, perhaps one of the biggest on everyone’s minds today: Has Islam ever been peaceful? I herein go through some of the most important historical battles and events for Muslims, also mentioning the Qur’an when relevant.

Summary:
I start out the show by running through Islam's violent beginnings, then transition into its tyrannical rule in Jerusalem and Cordoba. Then, I talk about the key battles of Covadonga and Lepanto, at which Islam was curtailed. Next, I skim over the rise and fall of the Ottoman Empire. I then give brief overviews of the Wahhabbist/Salafist movement in Saudi Arabia and Shia Islam in Iran. Finally, I touch on the Ahmadiyya community (which claims to be peaceful), pointing out its obvious heresies, and I do that just before closing the show with an under-covered point: Islam grew by violence, and Christianity grew by peace and inspiration. If Islam is wonderful, why is the Middle East a total hell-hole? And if Catholicism is so terrible, why is Europe so exceptional?

Islam is peaceful when its adherents are a very small minority. But as they grow the more active (notice active instead of “radical”) elements create roving gangs. The gangs confront non-Muslims when the non-Muslims are alone or outnumbered. They insist that person do (fill-in-blank)or next time they’ll (throw acid, beat-up, kill.)
No culture ever had a civil war over being too much alike. Diversity, as it is practiced in PC land is evil.
Incidentally, my Fortune 500 employer had a huge diversity program. One of the posters read, “Strength and Prosperity through Diversity,” almost a direct steal from a Nazi propaganda poster. It showed a ring of inhuman looking gummy bear type people all colors of the rainbow EXCEPT Caucasian.

There were/are peaceful Nazis, and there are peaceful Muslims, but they don’t make Nazism or Islam peaceful, or safe for the rest of the world. Islam is dangerous, and we tolerate it at our own peril.
Islam CAN NOT be peaceful. The Koran their Holy Book dictates that ALL non muslim be converted or be killed. It basically instructs them to lie cheat steal oppress and destroy to bring about a muslim world. Nothing peaceful about any of that..
No other religion, philosophy, political ideology etc. is more dangerous to the peoples of earth them Islam.......
