If I led a kingdom, priests who corrupted youths would burn at the stake. Harsh? Maybe so, but to corrupt youths from a position of trust does lasting damage to the kingdom itself. (Plus, if you allow them to live, they do it again and again. Their disease is incurable.)

Far as I know the Church is dealing with these issues head-on. In my church (no small one) it is made clear any kind of sexual abuse will not be tolerated and there are listed people and phone numbers to contact. Anonymously if desired.

I find it hard to take seriously a rag like the BG pontificating when they advocate depravity day and night.

Yes-—the Catholic Church was infiltrated, as Pope Pius X warned about in “Pascendi” about the “modernism”. There are evil “Catholic” clergy in the Vatican-—they are no more “Catholic” than Obama. Bella Dodd writes about the infiltration of homosexual Marxists in the 30s and 40s. She was a Communist operative who was baptized by Abp. Fulton Sheen.

The Catholic Canon is supreme-—not the pope or cardinals. If they confuse or discard that Canon-—they are not promoting Catholicism. It is essential for the pope to control the ideas of all clergy which is “taught” as “truth” to the laity.
