Report: Up to 600,000 Christians Have Fled Homes in Syria

Up to 600,000 of Syria’s 2.2 million Christians have fled their homes and are now either refugees or internally displaced persons, according to Aid to the Church in Need.

In all, 1.8 million Syrians have left their homes, the charity reported.

“The number of Christians killed because they are targeted for their faith is growing,” said Father Andrzej Halemba, the charity’s Middle East projects coordinator.

Referring to an October massacre, the priest said that “Sadad is a very clear case. They were slaughtered like animals.”

Mostly no; here is an article. Many Syrians are against the rebels, even though they are not completely supporters of Assad per se. But they are aware that the rebels are backed by Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and that those governments as well as that of Israel have close ties to US/UK elites.

The situation is very confusing until one realizes that it is financial elites that are transnational / global, i.e., have no real loyalty to a nation state - that are pulling the strings behind the scenes of all Western-aligned governments - at the highest levels. These financial elites can therefore have their own "private" operations going and also enlist the UKUSA "five eyes" intel apparatus, as well as the many intel agencies which work with "five eyes", to conduct operations.

"Five eyes" dates back to WWII. It's also important to note that the same elite private financial interests, well, their organizational ancestors, ripped the Tsar from power and have been doing business with the "USSR" all along, i.e., the "Cold War" was put into place by the financial elites. At the "collapse" of the USSR, the hundreds of billions being borrowed in the name of taxpayers through the banking syndicate and spent on Western militaries - suddenly had the "foe" disappear, endangering said spending and borrowing. The next "enemies" then had to be created, among them were terrorism, global warming, world poverty, AIDS, etc., which were all deemed national security threats in the 1990's by the UK/US intel establishment leadership. This provided the statutory basis for maintaining the vast security, military, intel, etc., apparatus in the West.

Bottom line, given that Syria remains outside the Western-banking regime lead by the elites' Bank of International Settlements, the Syrian "revolution", like its Libyan, Egyptian, etc., counterparts, is about making moves to integrate the Syrian economy with the West, of course, according to the terms set forth by the elites.

Strengthen Syria’s neighbors in their care and welcome for refugees,

And protect those committed to peace.

Inspire leaders to choose peace over violence and to seek reconciliation with enemies,
Inspire the Church around the world with compassion for the people of Syria,
And give us hope for a future of peace built on justice for all.

Petition: For the people of Syria, that God may strengthen the resolve of leaders to end the fighting and choose a future of peace.

I know it’s been a while but I just saw this other web post and it is appropriate for me to assume that the people from syria that will be permitted to immigrate will not be the Christians...
