Sometimes it seems that I am living in a Salvador Dali landscape: clocks melting of tables and all that.
Even as I hear about unions turning on the First Gay President over Obamacare, I find an op-ed in today’s Hell’s Bible (aka NY Times) by former KGB colonel and present Leader of the Free World, Vladimir Putin.
I read the op-ed against the backdrop of Syrian dictator Assad, in a politically deft move, saying right on schedule that it was not the Pres. Obama’s resolve for a military solution that moved Charlie Brown’s football down the field, but rather Putin’s and Russia’s involvement. Well-coordinated. Sly.
Here are a couple points from Putin’s op-ed.
A Plea for Caution From Russia
What Putin Has to Say to Americans About Syria[...]
The potential strike by the United States against Syria, despite strong opposition from many countries and major political and religious leaders, including the pope, … [!]

My working and personal relationship with President Obama is marked by growing trust. I appreciate this. I carefully studied his address to the nation on Tuesday. And I would rather disagree with a case he made on American exceptionalism, stating that the United States policy is what makes America different. Its what makes us exceptional. It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. [He's is talking to Obama's liberal dem base! But a KGB officer would know how to do that.] Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lords blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.
You don’t get to be on the top of the pile in Russia by being either stupid or a nice guy. This was pretty slick.
Putin affirms Obama’s determination to undermine American exceptionalism.
Putin invokes our creator, who “created us equal”, which point Obama has been systematically excluding from his references to the Declaration of Independence.
Pres. Obama has made Putin Leader of the Free World.
Ain’t irony wonderful?
“It’s like rain, on your wedding day.....”
One of the Fox and Friends hosts did an excellent comparison of Putin and Obama this morning. Sorry I cannot find the transcript. Essentially he held the two up reminding viewers that Putin is a communist and trained killer vs Obama who is a recipient of the Nobel Peace prize. Yet, Putin is the one defending the Syrians while Obama is the one sponsoring the Muslim Brotherhood. It hit home.
OH NYer I read original NY Times piece
Classic
I think it all hail Tsar Vlady of Arabia now
It’s like your daughter coming home at 3 o’clock in the morning with a Gideon Bible.
And, in related news, Pravda actually contains a great deal of truth, and your best source of US News resides in UK websites.
What Zero rides?
Before you post pictures of deliberate Russian propaganda, I would suggest googling “Putin action photos.” If your dumb enough to believe Putin is a Harley rider, big game hunter, black belt holder, deep sea diver, formula one race car driver, tiger tamer, polar bear killer, horse rider, shirtless fly fisherman, airplane pilot and whale hunter with a crossbow then your mind falls easily for government deception.
Fine by me.
I trust Putin.
Any man who made Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago required reading in Russian schools can’t be all bad.
Bingo!
Black belt judo in action
Big game hunter
F1 driver
As Ann Coulter said, longing for the time America was hated instead of ridiculed.
Putin pulled Zero out from the corner he painted America into.
You post deliberately staged Russian propaganda and now you think I am going to defend Obama?
So who won the Cold War?
What took you so long? I called Putin the leader of the free world yesterday.

As far as I know, unlike almost everything else made in China, Harleys are still made in the U.S. of A. and bring bread to the table to people making and selling them.
"Commie" working for the benefit of American economy, what an irony.
LOL
But who could possibly be surprised at that? (yeah, rhetorical question.)
