Any man who made Solzhenitsyn’s The Gulag Archipelago required reading in Russian schools can’t be all bad.
Reagan had nothing but disdain for the Soviet counterparts of his day: Brezhnev, Andropov, Chernenko and Gorbachev. I suspect he would have had at least a begrudging respect for Putin.
