“Pryeor has turned to his Facebook community for support, posting that he could not “get communion anymore” at Sacred Heart.”

It is interesting to reveal where he has put his faith. In the community, not Christ.

“I just don't want this to be a reflection of the Church as a whole, but rather one ignorant priest.”

Ignorant of what? Does this person even know what that word means?

Well, what did you expect when you decided to openly practice behaviour that the Church recognises as an abomination?

To liberals, worship is standing in front of a mirror. They cannot comprehend (or rather, will not acknowledge) any power higher than their own mind (or the excrement-filled thimble that they call a mind).

His Facebook supporters have encouraged Pryeor to “fight” the priest’s decision in hopes that the negative publicity will pressure the church to back down and give communion to homosexuals who publicly flout its teachings on homosexuality.

Negative publicity may frighten a craven and cowardly pastor to relent and (commit sacrilege and) give the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar to public sinners.

But pressure the Church in general to "change" the deposit of faith? Never!

There could be, and may be, martyrs' blood in the streets. But it still would not and could not ever change.

In saecula saeculorum.

Prior to Sacred Heart, Pryeor and Laveillee were active in area parishes, including St Eugene’s, St Mary’s, St Anthony’s, St John and James’s, and St Catherine’s.

Well, possibly they did a lot of moving around. Or, more likely, they were trying to bend the Church and seduce Catholics to their political advantage.

Note that it was not the Parish Priest who went public with this story; it was the perverts. The priest respected their privacy, and after the perverts contacted the press, refused even to answer a query from Life Site News.

I don’t think he ever “got” communion even when he “got” it.

“However, Fr. Brian Sistare at Sacred Heart Church has challenged the couple to conform to the Catholic Church’s teaching, which says that marriage can only be between a man and a woman.”

Actually and more importantly, this is God’s standard...

Here’s a solution to this problem:

The homosexuals get a “divorce”, confess/repent of their sins, and commence a chaste lifestyle.

If they do that, I would imagine Fr. Sistare would be more than happy to offer them Holy Communion.

Congratulations, Father. I love it when an issue that transcends FR’s religious divide can bring us together.

“I just don't want this to be a reflection of the Church as a whole, but rather one ignorant priest.”

The "Church" is Christ Jesus, who was God in the flesh. God's law, captured in the Bible, clearly states that homosexuality is an abomination to Him. A reflection of the Church as a whole? It's not the Priest who is ignorant, but Pryeor!

If that had happened in the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C., Donna Cardinal Wuerl would have revoked the priest’s faculties to practice within Donna’s Archdiocese.

I hope Rhode Island Christians support Fr. Sistane. A young priest courageously fighting Satan. God bless you, Father Sistane.
