Transubstantiation is not based merely on a literal reading of John 6. Try this:
Transubstantiation Nor do I subscribe to evolution.

Monogenism is the infallible teaching of the Church's ordinary magisterium.
All people are descended from our original parents.

Not sure what this guy was thinking but anyone who contemplates the full HORROR of life on Earth would immediately commit suicide.
Earth is a place of unimaginable nightmares. What's amazing is how God prevents the entire human race from committing suicide in one day. Not even sure why I don't have a gun barrel in my mouth right now....there is every reason to.

Of course, this is not what Christians believe. Our home is not this world. But that does not mean we can renounce our duty to care for the good, the true, and the beautiful in this world. Those of us who do not join monasteries are called to care for the political and the highest civilizational things. Dominique Venner, historian and former soldier, sought to found a new resistance to the collapse of European civilization. Whatever civilizational Christians think of his means, we ought to admire his end.
Suicide may be the only logical deed remaining in the world. The leftists and Islamists have effectively removed everything "good, the true, and the beautiful in this world" and God is utterly absent from our lives. Nothing remains.

That is a logic apart from God, with whom all things are possible. The problem is essentially this: Do you view the world ideologically or theologically?

ideologically. God is absent from this extremely evil world. So there is no point in viewing from any spiritual lens.

Then suicide is an option for you, I guess, although I would try to dissuade you from the idea.

Theologically it is not God who is absent, it is man whose faith in God is absent and has been in decline since the “Age of Enlightenment”.

Human stupidity often appears more powerful than God. Sometimes you have to wonder if stupidity in sufficient doses can be the ultimate force for destruction.
