Does Obama actually carry those religious items in his pocket? I’ve never heard a word about it. If it were Sarah Palin or Nancy Reagan or George Bush carrying those items, it would have been fodder for liberal mockery, proof of their superstitious minds and feeble intellect.

Yoga is not evil nor of the devil.
If people want to believe that, that’s their free choice.
Also, Hinduism is not of the devil.
There is one God, not many. Some people worship Him one way, some slightly differently. Hating those of other religions (not counting Islam, as they want to kill us all) is not a way to serve God.

Also known as an incarnation of Shiva the Destroyer.

Well some words from the Bible come to my mind here...
“Abstain from all appearance of evil”
so I would not do YOGA because if there is doubt then don’t....

[snip] Patanjali... fl. 150 BC or 2nd century BC is one among the 18 siddhars in the Tamil siddha tradition. He is the compiler of the Yoga Sutras, an important collection of aphorisms on Yoga practice. According to tradition, the same Patanjali was also the author of the Mahabhaṣya, a commentary on Katyayana's varttikas (short comments) on Paṇini's Aṣṭadhyayi and of an unspecified work of medicine (ayurveda). Patanjali's place of birth is held to be "Gonarda" (Thiru-Gona-Malai), a "country in the east" and he described himself as a "Gonardiya" throughout his life. Read Kipling’s “The Mark of The Beast” for a tale of demonic possession through the power of Hanuman.
At a party a woman was telling me about the benefits of Hathayoga. I said, “Oh well, hatha yoga is better than none!”
She spun on her heel & stormed off.
