I probably will not be around to worry about it,

In any case Obama wants me to be unarmed should anyone attack us.

I am sure that he would raise the taxes on the rich to pay for the damages.

In just a matter of hours, these events will dramatically change the global political landscape and structure of the world as we currently know it.

I hope Jesus arrives soon.
But if this period of history is something we have to get through on our own, then I say this: Freedom will not be restored except through a massive game changing event. A nuclear holocaust? It's probably for the best if you take a long-term view of it.

People castigate me for daydreaming about a massive, global EMP event to re-set everything.

Man’s attempts to govern himself are dismal failures. Soon, the Stone (of the book of Daniel) will roll down and hit the feet of the statue of Nebuchaddnezer’s dream, toppling the world’s governments it represents and replacing them forever with the everlasting Kingdom of God and of His Christ.

My wife laughs at me, but I often say I wish I were Amish. I recognize some of the harsh realities of life prior to 1900, and I appreciate some of the benefits of the 20th century, but overall I think civilization has gone badly wrong. Jumping back 200 years and trying to start over would not be good for me, or my children, and maybe not for my grandchildren -- but the generations that come after that would probably be a lot better off.

I'm not selfish: I want the world to be a better place 100 yerars from now. Without a major reset, I don't see that happening.

That’s what I’m praying for. All other options certainly pale in comparison.

Today's nukes are beyond horrific and just one look at the Tsar 50 megaton bomb clearly reveals that.

Your author is doing a very good job of discrediting himself. I wonder if your author would care to expound any further on the properties of "today's nukes"? Perhaps after we determine the state of your author's knowledge in the realm of the objectively provable, then we can more accurately assess his abilities in the realm of subjective interpretation of Scripture.

Alas, such well-referenced and obvious “any time now” predictions have been written non-stop for thousands of years.
And yes, that includes the inevitable “but this time it’s different!” objections to this observation.

The Charasmatic churches all said in the 80’s and 90’s that we were in revival...

Silly post. Your end of the world predictions are no better than Harold Camping's.

Today's nukes are beyond horrific and just one look at the Tsar 50 megaton bomb clearly reveals that.

That was a single test over 50 years ago. Only one of those bombs was built. Today's nukes look nothing like that. They are smaller, have lower yields, are mostly designed to top missiles, etc.

Stop predicting the end of the world. It's foolish to do since none of us have a clue when it will happen.

Regarding rapture, I’m pre-wrath. And I moved to central KY from Seattle in 2011 in the spirit of Rev 18:4.

There is plenty here I agree with but I tend to think the 200 mm is a Chinese army. Anc right now they have way too many men of military age.

Use ‘em or lose ‘em.

I’m with you except for one caveat: The day before it really happens someone will be saying what you just posted.

Of course. Some day it will happen.

Just like I read annual newspaper articles saying “hey, someday New Orleans will be flooded”. One day it happened.

Thing is, there’s a difference between “someday” and “in a few days”. Having a 100% failure rate up to that actual day doesn’t help.

.
Camping wasn’t predicting the end of the world; he was predicting the “first resurrection,” and he was a moron!

Zechariah’s holocaust can be predicted, RELATIVE to other events, for which we would have to wait until they occur before predicting anything.

Its the beginning of these things that we cannot predict.
