With North Korea breathing nuclear threats against America and Japan, China ramping up their nuclear arsenal and navy, Russia's deadly but silent presence ever looming and Iran in the process of possessing nuclear weapons the world today more than ever is ready for a massive nuclear global holocaust.
A popular prophetic question that is always asked is, “Is nuclear war mentioned in the Bible, and if so, when will it take place?”
Nuclear war is not mentioned specifically in the Holy Scriptures, but in looking at the context of events pertaining to the last days, we can see without a doubt that it has to take place, and the devastation that results is EXPONENTIAL and astoundingly inconceivable (Rev. 6:1-8).

Again, it is only due to the merciful hand of Almighty God that our fallen world has been preserved from total annihilation thus far and all the madmen bent on its destruction held in check. Lucifer’s mad designs and man’s violent tendencies will be kept at bay until the given time and then all hell will brake lose (Isaiah 14:16-17; Eph. 2:1; Rev. 20:3a).
Today's nuclear weapons makes the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki look like little firecrackers in comparison and the devastation which will be unleashed by these war pigs of doomsday will EXPONENTIALLY astound. Today's nukes are beyond horrific and just one look at the Tsar 50 megaton bomb clearly reveals that. Once these catastrophic weapons of destruction are let loose, millions upon millions will perish (Rev. 6:1-8). As we shall soon see, man’s thirst and appetite for power and control will load the 7-year Tribulation Period with catastrophic devastation and horrendous carnage unparalleled in the annals of human history (Matt 24:21; James 4:1-3). In just a matter of hours, these events will dramatically change the global political landscape and structure of the world as we currently know it. In the horrific wake of the world’s global nuclear decimation, the inhabitants still alive on the earth will be left dumbstruck.

Historically, a total seizure of power first requires a brutal and bloody war. This desensitizes and eliminates any organized threat from the populace. Lucifer (the devil) knows this and will seek to fill peoples’ hearts with hatred, bitterness and wrath. He will use all of this narcissistic rage, inconsolable grief and hostility to establish HIS throne and to wage war on Almighty God (Rev. 9:20-21; 16:11). Lucifer will then stoke the wrath of man into a full-blown rebellion against his Creator and all who are called by Almighty God (Rev. 13). He will channel their rage and hatred in waging war against Almighty God and believers in the True Messiah (Christ), who is the Savior of the world (Rev. 11:2-10; 13:7; 17:12-14). Nuclear war is just one aspect of the horrific events that will transpire during the Tribulation Period. This does not include the global natural disasters, supernatural judgments, demonic oppression and tyranny which will also take place alongside nuclear war (Matt. 24; Rev. 6-19). The awesome and frightful realities of global carnage, natural disasters, demonic possession and supernatural judgments will open wide the door for Lucifer and his master fascist (the Anti-Christ) to deceive, seize, exploit and conquer the world for their ultimate goal and design, i.e., the worship of and absolute power over the entire world (2 Thess. 2:3-4; Rev. 13:4, 8, 12).
In just a matter of hours, these events will dramatically change the global political landscape and structure of the world as we currently know it.
Let us look and see what the Holy Scripture states emphatically about the future global nuclear war which is at our very “doorstep.” The Holy Scriptures state that the “Four Horsemen War” in the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation Period destroys one fourth (1.75 billion people) of the world’s population (Rev. 6:1-8). A full one fourth!
"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth" (Rev. 6:1-8).
Scripture also states that soon after one fourth of the world’s population is destroyed in this manner, there will be a far more horrendous war to follow. This second great global war incited by the release of four demonic hellions and executed by 200,000,000 demons will cause one third of the remaining global population (or another 1.75 BILLION PEOPLE) to be destroyed!
"Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand (200,000,000): and I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths" (Rev. 9:14-18).
These two brief global (nuclear and demonic) wars (i.e., the “Four Horsemen” War and the “Quad-Demonic” War) will decimate the world’s social landscape and fully remove half (or 3.5 BILLION PEOPLE) of the world’s human population in just a short while during the first half of the Tribulation Period (Rev. 6-9). How sobering is that! The “War Pigs of Power" of fallen man and fallen angels are coming soon to your global neighborhood... you better believe it!!

According to Almighty God’s Holy Word, this global devastation brought on by wicked men and the unleashed demons of the abyss - allowed by Almighty God - MUST and WILL take place (Rev. 6-9). Nothing can or will stop this coming global holocaust and the manifestation of fallen man's evil heart (Isa. 57:20; 59:8; Amos 3:10; James 4:2)
Here He Comes!
During this time when man is pummeled and ravished by global war and demonic dominance, the nations of the world and its remaining inhabitants will already have abandoned Almighty God’s natural laws and been given over to their unbridled passions and godless philosophies (2 Thess. 2:9-12). That is why this time is also called the Time of Lawlessness (2 Thess. 2:7-12). In rampant unbelief these will look for a man and the demonic world (not God) to be their ONLY saviors. They will thus believe “the Lie” (2 Thess. 2:11-12), and look to Lucifer as their god and the Man of Lawlessness (Anti-Christ) as their savior (Rev. 13:4,8,12). In their allegiance to Lucifer and his Anti-Christ, the haters of REALITY and RIGHTEOUSNESS will “sign over” their ETERNAL souls and face the awesome consequences of perdition (destruction) in the Lake of Fire FOREVER (Rev. 13:16; 14:9-11). One can just imagine the absolute height of insanity of the world’s population at this time as they seal and surrender their eternal destinies to the brief tyrannical aspirations of Lucifer and his Anti-Christ (Rev. 13:4-18). These will be loyal to their Master’s bidding and seek to eradicate any who contradict the fascist designs of the New World Order (Dan. 7:21; Rev. 13:7; 17:12-14).
The Reality of the Righteous
Apart from the saving grace of Almighty God, there is absolutely NO HOPE for this fallen world! Such godless faith in fallen man is just blind, wishful thinking and a naive idiocy that becomes the height of insanity (2 Thess. 2:10-12). What will it take for individuals to realize this? It takes the abandonment of one’s own perception and human thinking, a boldness to look "outside the box" and have faith in Almighty God and His Word (Rom. 10:17, Heb. 11:1,6). It is only when we choose to believe Almighty God and His Word that we will see the realities of time and ETERNITY in their right and healthy perspective. It is only then that we will embrace His great love for us and begin to comprehend the wonders of His grace that we begin to see the bigger ETERNAL picture (Rom. 2:4; Eph. 1:7; 2:7). How sobering it is to all who reject God’s wondrous love and choose to abide in their transgressions FOREVER (Rev. 20:11-16, 21:8, 22:11)! This is graphically depicted in the artist’s rendition of Dante’s Inferno, where the writing on the sign at the gates of the Lake of Fire reads: ABANDON ALL HOPE YE WHO ENTER HERE!
It is only when we choose to believe Almighty God and His Word that we will see the realities of time and ETERNITY in their right and healthy perspective.
Won’t you make the right decision to choose life instead of death, blessing instead of cursing (Deut. 30:19)? Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? If you do not, call on Him today (Rom. 10:13)! It is in Christ alone that we have the forgiveness of sins and are granted ETERNAL life (Acts 4:12, 10:43, Rom. 10:2-4, Eph. 1:7, Col 1:14). As this down-spiraling world and the coming nuclear holocaust is at hand may you place your faith and trust solely in the Wonderful Person of the Lord Jesus Christ the Savior of the world. You will never be the same!

But if this period of history is something we have to get through on our own, then I say this: Freedom will not be restored except through a massive game changing event. A nuclear holocaust? It's probably for the best if you take a long-term view of it.

Man’s attempts to govern himself are dismal failures. Soon, the Stone (of the book of Daniel) will roll down and hit the feet of the statue of Nebuchaddnezer’s dream, toppling the world’s governments it represents and replacing them forever with the everlasting Kingdom of God and of His Christ.

Your author is doing a very good job of discrediting himself. I wonder if your author would care to expound any further on the properties of "today's nukes"? Perhaps after we determine the state of your author's knowledge in the realm of the objectively provable, then we can more accurately assess his abilities in the realm of subjective interpretation of Scripture.
Alas, such well-referenced and obvious “any time now” predictions have been written non-stop for thousands of years.
And yes, that includes the inevitable “but this time it’s different!” objections to this observation.

That was a single test over 50 years ago. Only one of those bombs was built. Today's nukes look nothing like that. They are smaller, have lower yields, are mostly designed to top missiles, etc.
Stop predicting the end of the world. It's foolish to do since none of us have a clue when it will happen.

Just like I read annual newspaper articles saying “hey, someday New Orleans will be flooded”. One day it happened.
Thing is, there’s a difference between “someday” and “in a few days”. Having a 100% failure rate up to that actual day doesn’t help.

Zechariah’s holocaust can be predicted, RELATIVE to other events, for which we would have to wait until they occur before predicting anything.
Its the beginning of these things that we cannot predict.
