Sigh: Biden Receives Communion Again
Sigh. I ask, what is the point of having a Canon 915?
Cardinal Dolan was back at St. Patrick's Cathedral and so was Joe Biden. Look at the commentary below from the Daily News. Isn't this the very definition of scandal?
Among the faithful packing the pews was Vice President Biden along with his wife, Jill.
Biden received communion, despite his support for abortion rights.
Unlike his predecessor, Dolan does give communion to Catholics who stray from church dogma on abortion policy, saying he prefers to persuade them in discussion rather deny them the Eucharist.
Dolan and Biden had coffee after the service, though neither addressed the press.

One sure sign of a priest who doesn’t believe in his religion is if that priest gives communion to sloe Joe.

It’s time for a Catholic Reformation.
REFORMATION:
1.act of reforming: the act or process of reforming somebody or something
2.reformed state: a reformed state, especially a general improvement in somebody’s behavior

It is litereally scandal.
It’s also a slap in the face to the faithful struggling with sin. Why bother?

How do we know if Vice President Biden went to Confession before Communion? And why on Earth are they using cameras in church? I am certainly glad that I am not photographed at church especially when going to Communion. That is supposed to be very personal and humbling while receiving Jesus’ body and possibly blood.

The question is: why are you still struggling with sin? THAT is the question that, if answered according to God’s word, would cease to be a question. The answer is there, has been there all along, and is begging to be read and believed. Of course, you would cease to be Catholic, if you knew the answer. You would cease to be any part of any religious institution. You would be free.

Murder is a sin. Abortion is murder Biden condones abortion. Biden needs to be TOLD by his “shepard” that what he believes is sin and he can not receive the body of Christ until he repents. Period! Dolan needs to read his bible more and have coffee with politicians less.

It seems to me to be narcissistic for Dolan to believe that his words would matter to a man like Biden who is so drunk on his own power that he risks his very soul to promote the culture of death while at the same time consuming our Lord for political gain.
However Dolan may believe that his words are the words of Christ and that the Eucharist itself may bring about Biden’s conversion. I cannot believe that Mr. Biden really understands the gravity of receiving the eucharist as a deliberate attempt to deceive America’s catholics into thinking abortion and catholicism can exist happily in one’s own ego. If he really understood how seriously God takes the deliberate deception of God’s people he would be on his knees begging for forgiveness.
I can understand Dolan’s position that there is personal responsibility involved in preparing one’s soul to receive the body of Christ. What is harder to understand is why given canon 915 the American church does not speak out openly about the deception it reproduces among American catholics.

The bishop of Wilmington, DE said the same thing when he was first installed. To my knowledge, he has not backed off that cop-out and has had no meetings with “minus IQ” Biden.

The issue is Scandal in C915. Therefore confession alone not sufficient. There needs to be public recantation of sinful act, in this case support for abortion.
Dolan should know that.
