Students at University of Missouri don't need to cram for exams that fall on Wiccan and Pagan holidays, now that the school has put them on par with Christmas, Thanksgiving and Hanukah.
The universitys latest Guide to Religions: Major Holidays and Suggested Accommodations designed to help faculty know when and when not to schedule exams and other student activities lists eight Wiccan and Pagan holidays and events right alongside more mainstream occasions. It's all part of the school's effort to include everyone's beliefs, although some critics say listing every holiday associated with fringe belief systems is a bit much.

When push comes to shove, MO will usually let you down.
Show Me state has a few too many liberals for my tastes. How about all the Roman Catholic Holy days too! That’s about 1/4 of the year—not counting Osiris Day and Ra Day of the Egyptians, Saturnilla of the Romans (That was a whole week) and the Birth of Mithras —— This sort of thing can get out of control real fast.
Truly we live in an alternate universe! The fabric of time has been altered, electrons, neutrons, subatomic particles are going backwards! Even the Higgs Boson doesn’t even give a Crap anymore.
Let’s not forget the Chinese Lunar holidays as well.
I would love to see some talented, dedicated college students take up this cause. Do some real research, and find various “religious” movements that espouse variants on this theme on even more days. Find one that says you cannot engage in any activity until three hours after sunrise or something like that.
Take the leftist tripe and stuff it back in their mouths until they choke on it.
LOL
No tests on Christmas, Easter or other major Christian Holidays; because the college is ran off of the tax dollars of Christians - but, the college is also ran off of the taxes of the Jewish, Hindu, Wiccan, Buddhist and Islamic faiths.
Why do Christians deserve greater accommodations than anyone else? At the very least, the Jewish, Hindu, Wiccan and Buddhists aren’t trying to kill anyone who disagrees with them.
As this is a State College - the rules it must abide follow the taxpayers of the state. If this were a Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Wiccan, Hindu or Islamic private college - it would be a different story.
I love it! (Sitting in my PV home).
lol
Because America was founded by Christians? “When in Rome”.
The bathroom.
What if my religion says every day is a holy day? Will they ever have exams?
Yeah, and don’t forget Saint Swziens Day.
Defund them now.
Not another taxpayer dollar to these morally defunct institutions of lower learning.
Yes. They Will. "Is this a Wise A$$?"
No... Church of the Wise A$$ is not mine. :P
Now we have us a rodeo.
