The FR thread that is the basis for this rant can be found Here

Note the maligning of "conservative Christians" in this inflammatory screed.

The Flying Inmans of FR have often posted examples of mormon goals of ruling the world. Kudos to West for his verification including sources from mormon doctrine, of the aim first declared by Joseph Smith and carried onward to the present time.

To those FReepers who consider mormons just the "nicest" neighbors and acquaintances, are you sure this isn't their mindset along with that of West?

I personally heard much of this belief from the podium in mormon services decades ago.

West is only stating what those of us who know and understand mormonISM have said all along yet have denied.

Greg is in a cult, hoping to become a god- his rant comes from his satanic desire.

Perhaps we dodged a bullet, here, only to be shot between the eyes by another 0bama term? Nice that we were lead to believe we had a CHOICE in the form of Execution for America.

Meh. Romney. Never was thrilled to the gills over that pick...

Meh. Romney. Never was thrilled to the gills over that pick...

Especially since according to his son he "really didn't want to win"!

I wonder if West will address THAT comment.

Harry Reid, Mitt Romney, Orrin Hatch and Glenn Beck...

...normally, one worth a damn out of four would be enough. No matter, the LDS gave America Obama's killing blow...thanks Joe and Brigham--you got your revenge...choke on it!

Our Mormon neighbor didn’t put up any Christmas decorations this year. I realize this is only one family. I do think there is some deep soul-searching going on among the Mormons. I think that they were very excited by Romney’s campaign. If they follow true to form, and I think they will, they will close ranks and get angry. And, even though millions of us non-Mormons voted for Romney, they’ll be mad at all non-Mormons.

Yeah I don’t know how any Mormon could get offended by FR posts on that subject unless they are fanatics plotting the destruction of all religions. /s

Rather than destroy Mormonism, the campaign against Mormonism has done much to diminish this site. Sad fact.

West is a moron. Why doesn’t he deal with the clap happy Mormon Obama voters. There’s a ton of them in California and Washington. My neighbors cried tears of joy when dumbo got re elected.

This whole Romney run for the president was just another attempt at attacking Christianity. I didn’t see it before but I do now. Mormons come out of it getting more recognition and even becoming bigger victims all the while attacking conservative Christians.

Conservative American tolerance for Mormon proselytizing on this site bamboozled many into thinking that RINO Romney had a frigging’ chance when REAL conservatives knew better.

The Mormon aristocracy will have much to answer for when the rest of us are packed into the gulag bound cattle cars.

Especially since according to [Romney's] son, [Mitt Romney] "really didn't want to win"!

Like the poor sport who loses really didn't care about winning the stupid old game anyway.

For a guy who didn't really want to run or to win, Romney sure did a lot of damage to his competitors, such as Newt Gingrich, who DID want to run and DID want to win. Newt was very far from perfect, but he was someone I would have voted for because the compromises I'd have been making to do so would have been reasonable. Romney, on the other hand, required zero compromising -- he required wholesale capituation to the liberal agenda. He stunk then and he still stinks. I thank GOD he lost because he would have been far, far worse for America and for conservatism than most people here understand.

Did you read West’s statement?
He is a mormon, this is what they beleive.
mormons are offended with what’s posted on FR about mormonISM because they are being exposed.

Rather than destroy Mormonism, the campaign against Mormonism has done much to diminish this site. Sad fact.

The sad fact is that for 180 years mormons have been working to destroy Christianity in order to substitute the polytheistic "man may become god" "the true gospel was removed from the earth" fiction of Joseph Smith.

There are 55,000 mormon missionaries going out every day proclaiming to Christians that their Christian faith is bogus and the only way to salvation is through arcane masonic rituals in mormon temples. The mormon church spends billions of dollars on TV and radio announcements claiming to be "the only true church on the face of the earth" and there are thousands of internet sites claiming the same thing.

Sad fact? The sad fact is that mormonism diminishes everyone who falls for it.

Help me out here:

Was Romney's candidacy part of the White Mule Prophesy (or whatever that nonsense is about), or did he not, in fact, want to win the Election?
