Islamic genocide: 1912 - 2012 = at leat 12 Million victims
1.) Targeting Christians (750000 Assyrians, 500000 Greeks and 1.5 million Armenians.* = 2.7 million) by Islamic Turkey (as an ethnic cleansing* as well as a jihad*), was genocide!
2.) Annihilating 3 million * Bangalis in 1971 by Pakistanis who thought they are ethnically and religiously inferior or not "pure"*, was genocide.
3.) Massacring three million of Igbo/Biafrans between May 30th 1967 and January 1970 by the Islamic government of Nigeria * was genocide.
4.) Targeting by apartheid* Syria, Arab-Islamic Alawites supremacists upon Sunnis to kill as many as possible (11,000 dead *), is Genocide!
5.) Targetng of indigenous Africans ("inferior" Dinkas*) by Sharia-ptomoters* Afro-Arab supremacists Northen Sudanese in order to kill as many as possible (2.5 Million dead *), is genocide...
6.) Targeting of non-Arabs such as the ethnic Kurds, by pan-Arabist racist Saddam Hussein (who regarded them as "infidels," in Koran terminology*, 500,000 victims *), is genocide.
7.) Targeting Jews by intolerant** Arab-Muslims inside or outside Israel (while using its own Arab civilians), in an intend to kill as many Jews as possible (since the 1920s * by the fascist 'Arab Fuhrer,'* the Mufti). Is attempted genocide!

Given the degree of violence involved in the original division of India and Pakistan, that would be one of the larger possibilities for genocide in the region ~ current estimates are that about 12.5 million people were displaced ~ including adult men and women, the elderly, and children ~ many millions were involved in extensive road marches under adverse conditions. That's where you start getting the sort of genocide seen in the transport of the Armenians out of areas Turkey wanted.
Still, even in the partition of India the worst estimates are 1,000,000 "casualties". That includes deaths and serious injury.
I have several neighbors around here who remember the event as children. It was horrible.
Fellow next door carried his baby brother on his back from beyond the Yalu River all the way to Pusan during the Korean War too ~ just to give you an idea of how people actually survive these things. You want to talk to people who have survived genocides they are here ~ talk to them any time you want. They are as happy to testify as Jews. (Having known some of Schindler's Jews, I'd like to testify here that ALL such victims tell the same story ~ it was horrible, filled with fear, and death, and as bad anything you can imagine).
The estimates of deaths in the 1971 war are simply not consistent with the Subcontinent's prior experiences in this sort of thing, nor with other similar events involving the displacement of millions of civilians ~ many without resources.
If you want to kick up into the high millions of deaths you probably need the power and capability of a modern industrial state. Then you can line 'em up, haul 'em away and kill them with some degree of efficiency. In addition, you need time to do that.
The 1971 war here is described as "the shortest war in history" ~ yet the partition, far more horrible for more people lasted over a span of several years and involved fewer claimed deaths.
With just 96,000 troops on the ground and a claim of 3,000,000 deaths in a few days, you'd have to have 1 Pak soldier kill (or be responsible for killing) upwards of 30 civilians in a short period.
Which gets us to the question here ~ given the Subcontinent's capacity for genocide (always present as "communal violence'), yet limited to the low percentages typical of such things in third-world societies, just how did that army do what it did? We need a mechanism.
Now, again, you missed the Partition in your list of Moslem genocides ~ guess 'cause it was created by the Partition Act of 1947, right, so it was conducted by the Brits ~ fresh off WWII ~ which just doesn't seem right. I certainly don't think they continued to have a taste for genocide.
Another one you didn't bring up was the killing in Indonesia just prior to Suharto's takeover from Sukarno. Over 1 million ethnic Chinese (all Buddhist) were murdered by the Moslems on the grounds that they were Communists.
Are you skirting this issue of Moslem genocide against presumed Communist civilians for some reason, or did you just forget about it.
In your defense some of these mass killings are probably not considered genocides because the ethnicity of the parties was the same ~ Greek on Greek genocide in the post WWII period was called a civil war between freedom loving patriots and Communist partisans. Moslem Albanian SS killings are buried under the blame we attach to the Germans. Again, Greeks, Gypsies and Serbs died by the tens of thousands.
We can ignore those dead Greeks yet we count the ones the Turks killed.
Really, I don't think so ~ we cannot afford to overlook any of these events.
