LDS Prophets warn us of the dangers facing America
That said, it does not take a genius or a Mormon false prophet to look at what has been and is happening in America to read the tea leaves and come to the conclusion that America is in deep trouble. Just one example of how bad things really are as a direct result of our Anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-Semitic, Black Liberation Theology-BLACK-racist, Marxist, Socialist, Communist, pro-Islamic, grifter "president" Hussain Obama can be found at the following web page link:

Something that Christian churches agree on, is that Mormonism is not Christian.
The Roman Catholics, the Greek Orthodox, the Protestants, all agree that Mormonism is a different, non Christian religion.
My feelings on mormons has nothing to do with my support of the Constitution.

I can't let this one go. Unbelievable! That you could say this about Mormons. When Mormons start cutting the noses off their women and girls, then you've got a case to make. I just know too many that are perfectly wonderful people with lovely families and delightful children and in no possible way can they be compared to Islam.
What you have posted is utter slander. It's enough for me to invite the Mormon missionaries in for lunch the next time they are biking around the neighborhood.
Oh...And,...By the way, what is your denomination so I know never to attend one of your denomination's church. What unmitigated hate they must be teaching from their pulpits.
Nah....Mormonism is to Christianity what Christianity is to Judaism....heretical sects...Islam is a nasty religious island all to its own...magritte
Dont read so much into it. I was merely point out the errors of progressive revelation, not a comparison of beliefs.
Yes, you are right about that.
“Who’s definition of Christian are we going to use.
“There are hundreds of definitions and they are all different. Is that a personal threat ?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh, Bluemoose, you don’t even need to ask that question
to know the cultic definition of mormonism!
Try this...
Christians and Jews believe in ONE GOD. One. Not more than one.
Mormons believe in trillions of gods. Heck, they even think they are going to become a god!
Ergo, mormonism isn’t close to Christianity.
It is more at home with other henotheistic religions like Hinduism, New Age Movement, and the pagan religions of Greek Mythology and the pagan religions that surrounded Israel in the Hebrew Scriptures.
best,
be sure to ask the mormon missionaries about why Joey Smith wanted to be the 2nd Mohammad and kill people...
“So it shall it eventually be with usJoseph Smith or the Sword! (Joseph Smith 1838)
One reason that people equate mormonism to Islam is because likre the Moslems, the mormons cut the heads of those they deemed “apostates” or “Gentiles” (infidels) and have a religion founded on much the same tenets as Islam...
One being a strange, unBiblical god and his prophet...
be sure to ask the mormon missionaries about why Joey Smith thought he was entitled to have sex with every female who breathed...
not matter how young
and no matter how married...
be sure to ask the mormon missionaries about why Joey Smith and his family were ex-communicated from the Presbyterian Church in Palmyra, NY March 29, 1830...
And why Joey Smith started his own religion two weeks later to rival the Christian Churches ...
complete with tenets which broke all TEN COMMANDMENTS...
reality, the only “crime” of most “cults” is that they they hold different religious beliefs from whomever is doing the attacking. For example, many conservative Christian counter-cult groups consider The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS; the main Mormon church) to be a cult that is tinged with Gnosticism and teaches beliefs which conflict with historic Christianity. Meanwhile, the LDS teaches the Christianity took a wrong turn in the second century CE and abandoned most of the teachings of Jesus and the apostles. They regard their own denomination as the true Christian church. Who is the cult and who is the mainline movement depends upon one’s viewpoint.
The Greek Orthodox church does describe the Mormon religion as a cult.
Here is the view of the Roman Catholic church:
Question: I read recently that the Catholic Church had rejected Mormon baptism, since their view of Christ and the Trinity is so unusual. But I have to ask: Are Mormons considered separated brothers and sisters? While their views are strange to say the least, they are still separated, and we should reach out to them. If we view them as something other than separated, doesn't that exclude ecumenism? I know that many view them as a cult, but aren't cult members separated as well?
A: The reason Mormons are not considered separated brethren is not because they aren't "separated" from the Church-they are-but they aren't "brethren" in the sense required.
The phrase separated brethren refers to those who, though separated from full communion with the Catholic Church, have been justified through baptism and are thus brethren in Christ. The Decree on Ecumenism (Unitatis Redintegratio) of Vatican II teaches that "all who have been justified by faith in baptism are members of Christ's body, and have a right to be called Christian, and so are correctly accepted as brothers by the children of the Catholic Church."
Because Mormonism is polytheistic and rejects the Trinity, Mormon baptism is not valid, and Mormons are not considered separated brethren. For the same reason, outreach to them, while certainly a good thing, is not ecumenism, though it can include dialogue and social cooperation as well as efforts to evangelize them.
Sorry, not buying what you're attempting to sell.
You're wrong in that you attempted to accuse me of behavior of which you have absolutely no clue about. You toss inuendos around like confetti hoping something will stick.
I suggest you and your fellow mormon freepers take another, long hard look at the tone, content and words in your posts. Those that are directed towards those of us who post against your RELIGION before you start building castles out of sand making the spurious and unsubstantiated accusations that you are.
If you're going to take the position that all are guilty for the post of one, (guilt by association) then you had better get ready for a large serving platter of it back and choke it down without complaint.
"They don't care about the message, but must make the thread about the poster"
This has been brought up by the anti's before. Personal invectives, name calling, lowbrow, immature personal comments about the poster personally. Almost exclusively against those of us who post about your RELIGION. Not one of you has ever stepped in to denounce it. In fact, many of you have embraced it and essentially cheered the aggressors on. Yeah, the ends justifies the means.
Now all of a sudden it's of great concern to you? Where were you when some of the mormons and your defenders were doing this very thing you falsely accuse others of?
Duplicity, hypocrisy, whatever you want it to call it, I don't care. How's that vinegar tasting right about now? Not very good when you get a little taste of it, is it?
“reality, the only crime of most cults is that they they hold different religious beliefs from whomever is doing the attacking.
I don’t think we were talking about crimes, but about how mormonism, which believes in trillions of gods, is not Christianity, which teaches there is ONE God.
“Who is the cult and who is the mainline movement depends upon ones viewpoint.”
I don’t know of a single Christian group that believes in trillions of gods. Do you?
The Almighty has established this kingdom with order and laws and every thing pertaining thereto
[so] that when the nations shall be convulsed, we may stand forth as saviours
and finally redeem a ruined world, not only in a religious but in a political point of view.
- Prophet John Taylor, Journal of Discourses, v. 9, p. 342, April 13, 1862
Bears repeating. Each mormon who takes part in secret mormon temple rituals is required to make this vow.
[Peter, James, and John return to the Terrestrial Room.]
PETER: A couple will now come to the altar.
We are instructed to give unto you the law of consecration as contained in the book of Doctrine and Covenants, in connection with the law of the gospel and the law of sacrifice, which you have already received. It is that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.
All arise.
Each of you bring your right arm to the square.
You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept the law of consecration as contained in this, the book of Doctrine and Covenants [he displays the book], in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.
Each of you bow your head and say, "Yes."
That will do.
Well, BM it appears YOUR viewpoint is overruled by the numbers. Mormonism is still a very small part of the US and world religious community, and all the whining mormons do about "persecution" as in THIS article in the Deseret News doesn't change the facts.
So, in 2010, we have a sect that takes advantage of being seen as different by using the "we are victims" ploy when it suits, and at the same time they demand that Christians not only recognize them as equal, but are expected to grant them equality while the non-Biblical doctrines and practices and denial of Christian beliefs are to be NOW (under the Mormonism Affirmative Action rule), left intact even though they have been inimical to settled and accepted Christianity since the inception of mormonism by Joseph Smith.
Mormonism not only demands a "seat at the Christian banquet table", it demands to set the menu, control the guest list, collect the funds from the ticket sales, and choose its own non-Biblical unedited and false message from its chosen speaker, all the while whining about being persecuted.
It appears that you believe the White Horse Prophecy from that statement, BM.
How is it that you can connect mormons and the Constitution?
America is infected with a deadly disease transmitted through secular humanism, which is draining the life blood of freedom from the Republic, through degredation of our morality and degeneration of our economy/dollar.
Black-robed oligarchs have set the Constitution aside in order to fabricate a secular realm.
The executive and legislative branches of the federal government have fabricated an oligarchy which now ignores those who were once the sovereigns of the Republic.
If we've been paying attention to current events, what's to argue with in the video?
