I just talked to Mindy's sister. She said that the babie's intestines had folded over on itself. She had been fussy and when she spit up and poo'd it had blood in it. That's how they knew Mindy was sick.
The doctors did a barium enema and the intestines untwisted. They will keep her over night for observation and if things keep going well they will release her to go home tomorrow. The dotor will have to operate if the part of her intestines that was damaged, doesn't stop bleeding. That's the danger now. So keep praying, prayer warriors, I know God hears us and will answer. Babies are precious to Him. Blessings to all. I'll keep you posted.

Nothing more heart breaking and upsetting then having a sick little baby and not knowing what’s wrong. So I’m with you thank goodness they found the problem.

That happened to me as an adult and it was one of the most excruciating things I have ever experienced. I wish the best for this little one. And yes, prayers are answered.

Thank you for the update on the baby’s condition. I’m sure she felt better when the torsion resolved. Prayers that it does not recur, and prayers that no permanent damage was done. Also praying for her parents, as they must be in pain with their beloved child.

You don’t say if it was torsion or intusucception (sp) but I am thinking it was one or the other.

Thank you!!!! Today while praying for Mindy, my mind went to and a little child shall lead them. I felt lead to pray that God would put a special anointing on this little one.
I’m not sure how intestine twist but, I’ve heard of people dying from it.
That’s what my daughter just said.Thank God they caught this in time.
