Beth Moore is an amazing Bible teacher. We’ve done several of her studies. Anyone can be restored if they truly wish it and are willing to go through the deliverance and restoration process with a pastor or person of integrity who knows how to do these things. We have all needed redemption at one time or another, have we not?
God has already shown in His word whether or not it is His will for Todd Bentley to “continue”.
1.) Is he now the husband of more than one wife, and that through adultery on top of it? 2.) Was he given to “much wine,” i.e., too much alcohol, (did he have a drinking problem) per what John Arnott said? 3.) Taking all of these together, is he “blameless”?
If yes on these seperately (and all together as well):
Todd Bentley, according to what the the Apostle Paul wrote in the word of God, would not qualified to be a bishop.
Rick Joyner and Todd Bentley both need to read what Paul the Apostle wrote in the word concerning qualifications to be a bishop.
Todd can be restored spiritually and morally, but not to being a bishop, though, and any who would try to aid in this restoration process cannot be in the position where they need to be restored themselves first - if the blind lead the blind they will both fall into the ditch.
I believe in the Word of God as you do, but I never limit God because there are things we don’t know about people that He does. I am not “legalistic” in my beliefs becase God can not be put into a box, He has shown that to me over and over. We sometimes think we understand His Word but His ways are not our ways.Again I am not saying one way or another as far as Todd being restored to ministry as it was...I believe it is possible because God is the God of restoring. ) And to add to this, I believe God is going to restore the Apostolic leaders to the church in such a way that the disagreements like the one we are involved in will again have an ultimate answer.That will help the body of Christ have a strong clear belief system. As it is now everyone does that which is right in his own eyes and in the world we have lost credibility
