Psalm 10
1Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?
2The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
4The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
5His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
7His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
8He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.
9He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
10He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
11He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
12Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.
13Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
14Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
15Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
16The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
17LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
18To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
But we pray for their repentance. We wish to see no soul go to Hell and we know that the best way would be if men and women of God occupied the White House, the Senate, the House, and the Judiciary. But that will take a special work of Your Spirit, and so we pray for Spiritual awakening.
Lord, it appears that the national day of prayer will barely get a mention on Thursday. I suppose it is too conventional for the fractured soul in the White House to give appropriate attention to. Lord, help us to see him as a lost soul who doesn't have a clue of the true evil he has embraced. Help us to have a love for our enemy, as Your Son commanded us to. We don't have to like anything he does, but help us to love his humanity and hate the work that Satan is doing in his life. Lord, Save Barack Obama, that we may have peace in this land and that he may lead the nation to repent of its grave sins - that perchance we may be healed of the gross infection which is destroying us with rapidity like a cancer.
Lord, Go with us. Bless us when men persecute us and keep us from the evil that they plan for us. In Jesus' mighty and holy name I pray these things, Amen.

Father God, Today we stand in a prayer of defiance. The enemy within this land wants to take away the birthright of every Christian American to worship You freely and openly according to Your Word and we stand in agreement to say he can not have our freedom of worship. Through the guise of pluralism, he seeks to make sharing Your Word with others an evil thing. He seeks to neutralize pastor's abilities to call sin sin. He seeks to usurp the authority that You have place in the hands of believers to call out to You whenever we wish and for whatever reason we wish in accordance with Your will. All the while, he works through his minions in Washington who are but puppets in his little play where he tries once again to set himself up as God. He is not God and he never will be. He is a loser and those who follow after him are losers as well - though they have the whole world at the moment, they will lose in the end if they do not repent.

Folks, it is time!
It is time for us to put on the full Armor of God.

Father, I pray that every day be a National Day of Prayer. As a nation, fill our hearts with a spirit of atonement. Prompt us to acknowledge You in all our ways, and plant Your desires firmly within our hearts. Lord, I ask that You place those in authority over us who would seek You in all matters of government. Return righteousness to our land by changing our mindset, and make us a demonstration to the world that You alone are God. In Christ’s name I pray, amen.

Bama and his Crew remind me of the God heart hardened Pharaoh just before the children entered the ‘promised’ land.
They may well be; or he could be Nebuchadnezzar. If he is the latter we can expect hardship in his life to bring him to his senses. Only God knows.

WEllll, I will not dispute the 'I AM' nature alive within Bama, and yes that king of Babylon did after a few years of eating grass repent. But.... within both the Pharaoh and the king of Babylon we see how God used them both to do a bit of sifting the wheat from the chaff.
Bama's head looks very much to me like the head of that Sphinx and there was seemingly a habit of the children to look to 'egypt' when they got themselves in a bind.
Given the shaping up of other events on the world stage, you are probably right; but, I wouldn’t rule out the other scenario either - or a scenario like Jonah and Nineveh.
