Youre quoting Christ from Leviticus? Certainly. He is the eternal, the Lord, the one who uttered these words and caused them to be written down and preserved.

In the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.
The Old Testament has the absolute same authority as the New Testament. It has the same authority as Christ own quoted words, because in essence they are Christs words.
