I don't see how ECUSA will really continue except for those always present number of people that agree with those liberal beliefs. Spong was here this week, talk about strange. Why doesn't he simply say he is an atheist? After all he is celebrated by the atheists. I read some info on him that had some links on ECUSA membership decline and in the 1990s to 2000 the decline was actually faster than I previously thought. ECUSA will be in the same class as Unitarians if not already. There are I think some honestly good members who are holding on for different reasons, but after they are gone it will be all heretics. That is simply my own opinion. Thanks

spong sees himself as some sort of revolutionary leader, even though if one reads any of his stuff (I do NOT recommend doing so) one quickly realizes spong's actual goal is the destruction of Christianity. In other words he's just another demonized fool who should have been excommunicated years ago.

A great many of the heretics are already unitarians, they just haven't figured that out yet. The primary reasons for their ignorance are their failure to have any depth in their theological studies, resulting in their failure to recognize that the panentheism which they attempt to preach is neither new nor revolutionary.
