Prayer Request For My Friend's Son involved in boating accident
Posted on 08/11/2003 3:28:59 PM PDT by appalachian_dweller
A close friend's son was involved in a boating accident Friday evening. He fell overboard and was hit by the propeller. The propeller blades actually cut into his brain. It's a miracle he's still alive. He has other wounds involving hundreds of stitches but the head would is the most serious.
I spoke with my friend just moments ago. His boy (who turns 10 tomorrow) recognizes his father's voice, knows what state he lives in and knows he was in an accident. His memory seems to be intact; however, the doctors don't know how his motor skills will be affected.
My friens's name is Alex and his son is James. Please join me and others in prayers that James will make a full recovery. Thank you all.

Bless you too, appalachian dweller.

What a horrible accident! Prayers for healing for James; for wisdom for the medical staff; and strength, comfort, and hope for Alex and other family members. May God bless you, too, appalachian_dweller, as you lend support to the family.
