Returning from a trip to the West Bank town of Jenin last year, Arik Ascherman reflected on Abraham's argument with God over the fate of Sodom.

The Sodomites' sinful ways so angered God that he resolved to destroy the city. "Will the innocent be destroyed along with the guilty?" Abraham asked. God agreed to spare Sodom if 10 righteous people were found.
