April 13, 2003 -- The Iraqi people who danced in the streets last week aren't the only ones with cause to rejoice.
Peace-loving folk everywhere are a whole lot better off this morning.
And make no mistake: No one deserves more credit for that than one man - George W. Bush.

Excellent read and he is so right. President George W. Bush had the courage and conviction to forge ahead and do waht was right for the liberation of the Iraqi people. President Bush has more character, integrity and intelligence in his little finger than the idiots who attacked him have in their whole bodies.
President George W. Bush will go down in history for this act of bravery. The idiots who attacked him will go away with their tails tucked between their legs. Funny ... they have no legacy regarding this war. Just like their previous President had no legacy and try as he might he has none now and never will except for Monica.
President Bush has done us proud. He is a leader of all leaders. Thank you President Bush should be on the lips of every true American and Iraqi. God bless our President and thank God for the POW's who were resuced today.

As I watch on TV, the Iraqis are saying thanks to America. But more specifically, they are saying thanks to President Bush.
Don't you just KNOW how that makes the dims feel!!! Ain't life great when a real man stands up and takes a stand for what is right.

actually the post has been backing Bush from day 1 over iraq

My reaction is not to the Post's previous, but to this article's unforgiving kudos. I rarely see such a praiseful article without at least a simple dig written in somewhere.
My kudos to the NY Post!

This IS his victory. This is the only time, that I can remember, that the President of a country has had to fight as hard as those on the battlefield. He was attacked from every angle, by enemies and by so called "friends", and yet he went on. We were behind him, but he stood alone in the arena and we could only watch as he suffered the wounds and soldiered on.
I'm so proud of him, and I'm so proud of our military.

Outstanding! I couldn't have said it any better.

That is beautifully said, McGavin.
RjayneJ...quote of the day nomination for #10!
To: McGavin999
But the world, for its part, couldn't find an award big enough to repay America's president for what he did in the name of peace, security and freedom. I know! We could nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize!

But then, McGavin999 is usually on target . . .

well said

Yes, it feels good in the heart doesn't it? Kinda like when you were a kid and you knew your parents were there to protect you. I get the same feeling with President Bush at the helm. God bless him.

Speaking of which, in the off chance that Bush would win the Nobel Peace Prize, do you think he would accept it?
