Hi all.
We're looking at a firm date of Saturday April 12th at 2:00PM.
US Military Recruiters and Public Liason Officers will be there as well as Bob Goodlatte, Virgil Goode and possible George Allen. Lynchburg City Council as well as the Mayors Office and various Veterans Groups.
Sponsored by 105.9 WLNI FM talk Radio.
Anyone who wants to participate or bring items for the troops then contact me [Brian] at 434.610.3015. We're gonna set up a digital camera and let people record messages for the troops that will then be sent over to Iraq and Afghanistan via US military PA liasons. We will also be creating care packages that the family members of local military servicemen will then mail off. The different recruiters will be bringing static displays and we will be giving away T-Shirts, bumper stickers and other items.
Give me a call to get on board. Come support our Country and Military!!!!

Major bump for my hometown (well, OK, I grew up in Amherst, but close enough). Show 'em how it's done, Lynchburg!

Wow! Wish I could come home for that one. Well, Lynchburg is one of my home towns. I have several. That way I never run out of home towns. I got my undergrad at Lynchburg College. I still love that town.
