War With Evil IS The Answer! (Great article!)
Washington Dispatch ^ | arch 24, 2003 | Patrick Rooney

God Bless President Bush.

I thank God that we have the right man in office at this unique and critical time. A man who has looked the world in the eye and refused to blink.

We live in extremely dangerous times. The danger comes primarily from our past failure to stand up to evil. President Bush is now applying the correction. If the correction seems harsh, it is only due to the vast amount of evil we’ve allowed to build up over time; particularly throughout the eight years of Bill Clinton, when he refused to stop the likes of Saddam Hussein and Korea’s Kim Jong Il.

Surely you’ve heard of the heroin addict who suffers through major withdrawals when he finally kicks. This is no different. The beauty of President Bush’s course is that it is exposing for public view, all of the world’s evil and insanity.

We’ve seen the anarchists in our streets masquerading as “peace protestors”. We know they’re led by communist front organizations, and populated by losers—misguided products of our failed government schools. They are not merely aiding and abetting the enemy—they’ve become the enemy’s good little soldiers.

We’ve seen the celebrities spouting off ad nauseam about that which they do not understand.

We’ve seen the media attempting to sow doubt about our cause.

We’ve seen the reaction of hateful foreigners, whose only understanding of America comes from television programs and movies, much of this entertainment created by the hate-America crowd itself.

We’ve seen ingrate nations like France and Germany insulting us. We’ve been booed at hockey games by our socialist northern neighbor Canada and shunned by our corrupt southern neighbor Mexico.

And we’ve seen the spiteful, pitiful United Nations oppose and fail us, after many months of effort by America to attempt to play their game and form a war coalition through them.

My answer to all of this is “Thank God!” Watching the United Nations fiasco unfold, I couldn’t help hoping it wouldn’t work, that we would be forced to go without them. Because, it is actually a great blessing to see the spectacular failure of this freedom-hating entity.

I am not one of those who say, “I’m against war, but I support our troops.” Frankly, I’ve heard this sentiment too often from our side. As a colleague noted, it’s weak and uninspiring. No—I am strongly for the war and my president! War with terrorists and those who support them is indeed the answer!

War is the answer to get rid of Saddam Hussein once and for all!

War is the answer to stop evil punks like North Korea’s Kim in their tracks. We want him to contemplate “shock and awe”, sit his little communist butt down, and stop with the schoolyard threats.

War is the answer to draw out our enemies, both foreign and domestic. When a just war causes Jesse Jackson, Tom Daschle, and their nasty minions to scream, you know we’re on to something good.

War is the answer to put the world’s terrorists on notice—“Your days are numbered. Start digging your hole cuz we’re coming for you soon” (“Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do…”).

The whole concept of the war on terrorism is extremely powerful, because it essentially delivers this massive promise: Evil will cease to be the world’s dominant force! This promise is the real reason evil is freaking out worldwide.

The most serious threat to evil everywhere is the power of good. We are seeing that today embodied in President Bush. This is the reason he is ridiculed—do not be fooled. Because his courageous, calm, rational, yet fierce example—his very existence—is dangerous to evil and all its foot soldiers. Let us never forget this. Everything else in this discussion is a peripheral issue.

Here’s to an amazing and always relevant God, to his instrument President George W. Bush, and to a world which will be stronger, safer, and freer in the days, months, and years ahead because America had the courage to boldly choose a just war over a false, fleeting peace.

Great article. It answers all the idiots who keep saying "war is not the answer" but don't have a clue about what is the answer. He explains why war IS the answer, the only answer, when dealing with evil, because defeating evil is the only thing that works.

O'Rourke's Give War a Chance isn't satire anymore, is it?

How I pray that this will continue to be true. I am anxious concerning the battle of Baghdad, that it will be much harder than we think. I pray PB will remain strong enough to put PC and World Opinion aside and save our troops from unnecessary death..that he will make the hard decisions in the days ahead.

Please keep him in prayer!

It's not PC to try to avoid killing innocent people. Those who purposely kill innocent people are whom we are fighting against; this war means our soldiers will die in order to save innocent lives. That is why we are there.

Yes innocents will be killed in this war, many more because our enemy uses our humanity as a weapon against us. That is a measure of their evil.

Those who fire at us from behind innocents are responsible for their death and injury. Still we should do everything we can to prevent it while defending ourselves and defeating the enemy.

I know you believe this as well; I just want to emphasize that avoiding the loss of innocent life in war should not be seen as PC. It illustrates that we value human life while our enemy does not. This is why we should, must, and will prevail.

Thanks for posting this great article. Well, said Patrick. Perfect timing for an article like this. The President has unwittingly or wittingly drawn the line in the sand and dared people to cross it. It seems that every situation these last few years is an opportunity to takes sides in the battle of good against evil, to strenghten our resolve.

Thanks, Abby. One of the more simple articles I've done. Because there's nothing complicated about good and evil.
