They should be really upset at various TV channels, especially those that chop the last few letters of a movie name. Last night one channel trimmed the last three letters of "Harlem Nights" on its description.

Nope. The guys in the first few all were black. They later did a version with mostly white yuppies, totally making fun of the white guys trying to be cool. They also did the Italian versions, which used "How you doin."

It may or may not detract from his business. There have been cases where similar signs on storefronts were unnoticed and ignored until they hit the press because of a complaint. And once the press got the word out about this or that "evil store" business went through the roof.

If you can't remember any instances of this happening you need to try harder.

Just day before yesterday I received an E-mail that was filled with what the sender called y"all bonics. It was bubba speak, and it did not offend my white southern sensibilities at all. Not only was it funny, it pretty much conformed to the way I remember people speaking as I was growing up in western Kentucky.

I would split my sides if blacks would talk like that and try to make fun of us.
