The author of that article is an idiot. The productive, tax paying citizens of the U.S. are the CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN voters. Can you imagine any of these liberal areas trying to survive on their own?

Where would Detroit be if the Republican parts of Michigan weren't taxed to prop it up? Ditto for just about any major liberal DemoRAT dominated city.

If we split the country up, giving liberals one half and conservatives the other half, the liberal half would rot into a third world cesspool in no time. Look at the mess California is in because it's been flooded with DemoRAT immigrant voters. Imagine what would happen if all the people who voted for Simon left the state, leaving only the Davis & Boxer voters. The place would look like Haiti in two years.

The only problem the conservative half of the country would have would be keeping out the illegal aliens flooding into our side from the liberal side.

Conservatives build. Liberals then occupy the territory, sponge off of us, and tear down what we've built. It's a law of nature.

Not us northerners and West Coasters. Most of the rich and middle-class people in the country live in these states – California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Pennsylvania and most of the New England states. And the moderate and liberal states number among the most populous states.

There are so many problems with the illogic of your argument that its hard to know where to start. Firstly, this country already fought a bloody civil war over the issue of secession (not slavery). Since the lefty crowd doesn't support the Constitutional right of gun ownership, I suppose you are just going to stand there and take it. That would work out fairly well in the end.

Unfortunately, I don't think that the vermin who benefit most from the US welfare state would go along with secession, because that would mean they actually would have to do some work. I assume you are going to consult with the Canadians about filling up their already overburdened and collapsing welfare system with millions of unemployable dopers, crackheads, welfare baby machines, and assorted vermin. My bet is they don't want any part of your Utopian vision and even they would resist by force of arms.

I figure this whole rant is just one big put-on, but nice try.

Leroy Myers, a local boy and older brother of a guy I went to school with (who also married my friend/neighbor) beat him by a handful of votes, even *after* a patented "but..but..I couldn't have lost!" denial-fest recount by Taylor.

If the northern and West Coast states come together, they can devise their own country from the Potomac River north through Washington and Maryland, through states such as Delaware and Pennsylvania to New York and the New England states.

Rat woman treated after 1,000 animals killed

A laboratory researcher has been treated at hospital because she is devastated by the death of more than 1,000 rats.

Gwynneth Quick, who has been dubbed Rat Woman, kept the rats at her home near Cape Town because she couldn't stand the way they were being treated at work.

Authorities only found out about the rats when she locked herself out of her house and called police for help.

Police found rats running all over the house where they had destroyed most of the furniture and internal fittings. Only one room was reserved for human habitation.

Ms Quick, said to be an exceptionally intelligent woman with a number of university degrees, was treated in hospital after the house was fumigated and the rats killed.

She has now been readmitted for further treatment.

The least populous state, Wyoming again, has as much voting power as the most populous state, California.

This is more than incorrect, it is maliciously deceptive. I just looked it up, and California ha 54 electoral votes, and Wyoming has only three. I am always amazed at the lenghts to which some leftists will go to attack the elctoral college. If you think the leftists want New York and California to control the country, you'd be right.
