Rush Limbaugh calls for action and Republicans to 'proceed with vigor'.
However, there is no way we can be vigorous with Jellyfish T. Lott as Senate Majority leader. He wants no part in the responsibility of governing.
We must get a new Senate Majority Leader, instead of the weak, lilly livered, lazy, stupid, Trent Lott, who won't do anything positive, and who will just attempt to bring back the demonRATS to rule the senate, and screw up our country.

We need some addresses/emails/links to tell Bush just how much we can't stand this "man"?

I agree--dump Lott--he's had his chance.
But who would be a better (read: has a spine)majority leader and who would want the job? Don Nichols? Chuck Hagel? Orrin Hatch? I'm looking at the list, and it's slim pickin's.
To: XBob
I completely agree. We need to dump this girley man from the
Republican leadership!

Did Rush just say that we must proceded with vigor, or did he actually say that we must get rid of Lott? If so, is Jellyfish T. Lott his terminology?

--I have exactly the same problem--Don Nichols?--Maybe. Orrin Hatch--no way! Chuck Hagel--maybe he would be a surprise like Hastert in the House, who certainly has been a better performer than Lott ever was--
Slim pickin's, indeed---
To: XBob
Actually, Rush also said that the Republicans must not mistake this election for a conservative revolution, or they will destroy their hard-won advantage.

I agree that Hatch would be better than Lott.
If McQueeg (my senator) were trustworthy and had an ounce of party loyalty, he would be better than Lott. Unfortunately, McQueeg is too busy building a shrine to his own bad @ss.

Don Nickles and tell him we would appreciate it if he would take Lott's place. I understand he was considering it, but then changed his mind. Help him change it back!
To: XBob
Yes, now that the Republicans are in power we shall start to eat our own.

AGREED!!!! Lott's performance left a LOT to be desired during the Clinton mis-administration and I very seriously he has gotten any better since then.
We need and deserve a leader in the Senate who will rise to this historic moment and that is NOT the spineless smarmy Lott.

How about John Kyl???

Lott may not be able to progress with a media-supported Democratic majority...however, he will have no problem speeding thru Republican initiatives with the new Senate.
Nickles will do well in his new Banking Committee Chair, replacing Domenici. We will see rapid tax cuts and spending reductions.
Lott's reshuffling of various committess such as this will be effective.

I wouldn't mind seeing George Voinovich (Ohio) as Senate Majority Leader.
To: ChadGore
Lott will probably want to have a 50-50 membership split on committees again as he did last time he was "in charge." Throw the eunuch overboard and get a real leader.
