A Shot in the Dark

With the recent events in Maryland and Virginia, I have seen through the media of what happens to a large herd of sheep that suddenly discovers a wolf devouring them. Perhaps I am channeling Jeane Dixon, or I am simply twisted and able to think about how I would play this (were I an Allah-loving, murdering bastard [pardon the redundancy]), but here is my vision for the next few months…
Tuesday, 10/28/02: Chief Moose, at his morning press conference, expresses gratitude with two weeks going by without another new victim of the DC sniper. He also expresses frustration with the lack of progress made in the investigation. A widely repeated quote, one chewed over endlessly on the cable news shows for the next two days was, “Without the shooter making a large mistake, or a bolt from the blue break in this case, we may never know who this killer is.”
Thursday, 11/21/02: Between 7:30 am and 9:30 am (EDT), four persons are killed with single gunshots, fired from long range, in various suburbs west of Philadelphia. The locations were all close to freeway on-ramps. One victim was entering a grocery store. Two were at gas stations. During the same two hours, 5 persons are slain in the Yonkers-White Plains corridor west of New York city. Two victims were at gas stations, one was waiting for a commuter train, and another was exiting a doughnut shop in a strip mall. Two police officers were in the shop at the time of the killing. Neither saw anything, or heard the gunshot.
Commencing at 7:30 a.m. CDT and ending 1 hour and 45 minutes later, 5 persons are shot, four killed in the suburbs to the west of Chicago. The MO is identical to the DC, Philly, and New York area crimes. One persons is slain at a gas station one half block away from an officer parked by a freeway off ramp, doing routine traffic work.
In Orange County, (a suburb area of Los Angeles) four persons are shot and killed between the hours of 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. PDT. The quicker time is attributed to an apparent “two shots from one spot” sequence occurring within seconds of each other at 8:10. One victim was at a gas station adjacent to the Westminster Mall, and the other was entering his office building adjacent to the mall. Police speculate that the shooter was inside a vehicle on the slow moving 405 south freeway, but witnesses stated that a blue SUV was on the freeway shoulder in the area at that time and it looked like the vehicle owner was fixing a flat tire.

I fear this is very close to what the future holds for us if we allow it. It's time to do away with the PC bilge, realize we are at WAR, and send ALL the mid-easterners home and/or put them in internment camps, NOW. The politicians won't do it unless we go on a rampage to demand it. What are we waiting for? More?

If this shooter turns out to be a white guy, do you still want to do this? Do you want to do this to American citizens of Middle Eastern heritage?
American citizens stay here. If terrorism continues, maybe we could just start by sending the American boys/men of ME heritage, to nice internment camps, (yikes...how totally un-PC!) until we get things under control here. War is hell.
If the shooter turns out to be a ME terrorist, what do you think we should do? If it is terrorism, do you think we will be told?
