So, are you saying that a few small countries with oil can cripple the vaunted U.S. economy, regardless of the fact that we have enough oil to last hundreds of years?

My neighbor went to the airport a few months ago, an told me he was sitting on the plane and some guy came down the isle and sat right next to him. LOL! He said the guy looked like Yassar Arafat and smelled like a damn campfire.

My buddy says he took one look at him and walked off the plane, two weeks later he actually quit his job as it required flying....

After reading through your posts and the replies to same, are you saying you want the Bush team to get on television everyday and give a blow-by-blow account of what they are doing and plan to do?

Absolutely not, although Bush HAS done that in allowing reports that plans to oust Saddam are underway.

I would rather see and hear news reports that the hell is being bombed out of PLO facilities and that Bagdhad is in flames and for Bush to tell the press: "I'll comment when the job's done."

Boy, do I miss Ronald Reagan.

Also we have our own Cultural & religious war going on right here in America, how can we fight Terrorism when our Politicians & our courts are more worried about the Terroists rights & hurting the Arab peoples feelings then catching the B@stards. In short America seems to be on a path of Self destruction of our own making, hopefully Bush will keep a cool head & handle it in a responsible manor. At least that is what I hope.

When you have people concerned as to whether stopping Arabs to check IDs is immoral or unfair, then you know something is wrong.

I believe that it's long been time that Americans become more prejudiced about protecting Americans. Why should we care what others think? Yet, our cops and firefighters can't wear American flags on their uniforms because it may offend someone. The ACLU (i.e., American Civil Liberties Union) is more concerned about the rights of suspected foreign criminals than they are in avenging atrocities against Americans.

It's time we understand that Americans are more important than those who are not.

Your words ring true & if the truth be known this is probably not a to faroff possibility, especially if we attack Iraq because then we piss off the Russians which is our alternative to the Middle East Oil source. It is true that we have our own oil resources, however the Eco-nuts & the DemocRats refuse to let us use it. When this country shuts down & people start to freeze & starve, well then maybe they'll get off their duffs & let us drill for our own oil. Until then this is a real possibility.
