You're right, no human characteristics, once again the missing link is proved false. Well, back to the ash heaps of civilization and the bottom of ponds, seaching amongst the fish droppings, ever in search of the missing link.

Two problems: 1) These examples of life are too advanced. Better candidates for missing links are Barbara Boxer, Hillary!, and Robt. Byrd. Barney Frank was a possible candidate, until it was determined that he does not reproduce. 2) The other problem is that all of these life forms are not precursors of homo sapien, but are dead-ends on the evolutionary tree. They are species that are going extinct (or we can hope).

You are absolutley right, for me to denegrate good honest pond scum, scum found in the bottom of a swamp, scum filled with clean fish droppings, by associating it with the likes of kennedy, daschle, snowe. collins and feinstein is without pardon. I am ashamed and I apologize to the real pond scum of the world.

Why I remember as a recruit at Paris Island, my senior DI referring to us as lower than whale droppings at the bottom of the sea. Pond scum would only be a little lower than that, and for me to put collins on the same level as stuff just a bit lower than a Marine recruit borders on treason. I should be shot!
